Any idea regarding how to go about CSAT?? I did 2014-2019 PYQ and was sailing through, no issues but then I did last year and it was brutal, couldn’t finish on time, couldn’t even do the passages which are my strong point and I’m kinda freaking out right now. Honestly I’m a bit shaken by how bad it was. Any tips? What should I do? I’ve only heard people suggest doing PYQ so that was my strategy but I’m a bit lost now :(
There is a channel named CivilsTap on youtube. They have uploaded detailed solutions of CSAT PYQ's topic wise. Watch and understand the quants and reasoning portions of the past few years! :)
I believe if we are going to attempt all the passages, an error margin of 10 questions must be taken. Hence, trying to attempt 15-20 from maths and reasoning will help.
Around 50 questions are a safe bet.
How does La Nina affect weather pattern in places other than India? In Africa, South America, North America, SEA and possibly Europe? Just warmer, wetter, cooler, dryer sort of thing.
Also, the heat wave in North America this year, was that due to La Nina?
The combined phenomenon of southern oscillation and El Nino is known as ENSO. In the years when the ENSO is strong, large-scale variations in weather occur over the world. The arid west coast of South America receives heavy rainfall, drought occurs in Australia and sometimes in India and floods in China.
Copied verbatim from NCERT. You may reverse all the conditions for La Nina.
And, yes, Heat waves in North America was due to La Nina which created a heat dome effect.
Pls explain what is the logic behind this ?
It means even if Y starts 40m ahead of X, both will reach at exact same time. That is, in the time taken by X to travel 1000m, Y will travel 960m [1000-40]. Similarly, X-Z pair mein Z will travel 936m [1000-64] in the time X travels 1000m.
Comparing these, Y ka 960m wala time= Z ka 936m wala time.
So when Y travels 1000m, Z will travel [936/960]*1000m= 975m [1000-25m]. So, even if Z starts 25m ahead, they'll reach together. So, Y gives 25m to Z
@mehuifs annually only for rural, QUARTERLY for urban
But PIB says annually for both rural and urban? :/
