Created this thread as a one stop solution for all members so that all the doubts wherein any conceptual clarification is required can be solved here.
The Environment Protection Act, 1986 empowers the Government of India to
- state the requirement of public participation in the process of environmental protection, and the procedure and manner in which it is sought
- lay down the standards for emission or discharge of environmental pollutants from various sources
Official answer key says answer is 2 only. Isn't public participation a part of EPA?
EPA doesn't contain this provision specifically afaik.
That's what everyone says after the answer key comes out 😂. I think questions like these can't be answered even if you have the whole act in front of you.

You don't even learn after the exam, in this exam where you get the answer key 18 months after the exam :p

Conquer,Shailputri@Shailputri definitely a...the aim is economiv dev, it may happen or not is totally different debate. secondly, borrowing money to repay loans cant be a sustainable long term aim.
Oh that way. Haathi ke daant type. Borrowing in the name of development but ultimately leading to redemption of debt.
Clever options tho.
Ancient, Medieval, Art and Culture - these questions are generally etymology based.
If we don’t fear seeing the topic and are able to calm our nerves, then most likely chances are, it will strike us to the relevant theme/essence.
I solved 2 questions in 2019 based on options in them, option in one question something about Ashoka helped me to get answer about Harrapan site and that scenario I was able to solve other one also.
The option was about Sohgaura in harrapan one, which was also mentioned in Ashoka wala question,
miss that exam aware me, wasn't able to solve questions I knew in 2020

@HughJackman For mp it's administered by speaker of lok sabha but minister is executive so administered by President of India

Conquer,Conquer,@Jammu and@Hououin_Kyouma , these type of questions can be a deal breaker though. 2-3 questions means 6 marks. The thing is, how to develop such aptitude? Is it all related to calming our nerves or is there something more?
