In their model answer they write too many irrelevant points to create fear psychosis. Too much importance that we attach to IBC format is also their creation for a purpose. As mostly they do not know answer, they would teach u how to structure the answer but not the answer itself.

Saw a video of Mr DP Agrawal(ex-CM, UPSC) advicing students to not take a middle path but take a stand and justify it. This exam seems so contradictory..

In questions where stand needs to be taken, one should take stand...like low inflation question in gs3 or question regarding globalisation in gs1...However we should not take extreme stand...many aspirants have written pros and cons of low inflation...which IMO not the best way to write...

@dr-ahmednaaz8567Yeah even I think that in "Do you agree" kind of questions where the question demands that you take an YES or NO stand... it's better to take a stand and justify it. Maybe at the end we can write a small para about the validity of the opposite stand too just to show that we have thought about the opposing view too.

I dn think apart from interview u need to take stand ...u need to present both the points of view

@ranyo_asokaIf people have written even 60 - 70% of what they mentioned here in actual exam... then no need to wait for results for me. I already know it#Prelims2020

@Rand_Al_Thoronly 4-5 hve put their answers..we dont knw answers of 99.99% rest of the approx 11800 people..so chill..if urs is above average of these ,then chances are high fr interview call

@Caesarhar saal i think mark scheme is changed..albeit there is also demand of question...agar middle ground lena hoga toh one has to quote both positives n negatives..isse divergwncw ho jayega aur time toh waise hi over ho jayega...aise hard mind set leke exam nhi de sakta koi.....
