filling page with unnecesary bakar reduces marks,only relevant write up gets rewarded, if someone fills all pages unnecesarily wont get marks, filling up by elaborating in more details what u knoe helps not anything bakar

Most people felt gs paper 2 tough,
gs paper 3 moderate to tough,
gs paper 4 moderate
and essay easy.

mostly i see people exceeding word limits for 10 markers ( >150
+).... and for 15 markers are able to write only 210-220 words.

i mean can we extrapolate the marks obtained in 10 marker mutiplied by 1.5 for an equivalent quality 15 markers for the above said word limit. ?

Filling pages is a psychological advantage imo!
An examiner however superior the answer is will get a negative opinion seeing a full page left blank for a 15 marker

@ManchesterUnitedi feel the same, leaving a question not known precisely is worse than writing a page on broad headlines, like was the case in cyberdome this year

@ManchesterUnitedha ha.....Dil behlane Ko khyal achha hai. UPSC examiners are not stupid. Relevant likhne pe marks milte hai...kuch bhi likh do ...unesco likh do Lekin question me jo puch hai wo na likho to kuch nhi milta.
Last attempt me ....40-50 marks blank hone per bhi mujhe number mile the... equivalent to other candidates.
So please do not spread this false notion ki pages fill kr do

Usually if it’s 3rd-4th attempt ppl don’t write irrelevant stuff..
irrelevant stuff will never fetch marks...

But question like integrated farming system, cyberdome imo v should write as much as we can keeping closely to topic as per our understanding

@Haeckelthats what. writing broadly can fetch 2 marks rather than leaving blank wiz 0 in any case.

Rest no one can claim that he has written full relevant as we dont have answer keys or indicator for the. the parameter is getting closer to an relevant content as much as one can which fetches 5-6 marks.

A half filled paper doesn’t look good!
Not that you should write to the brim of it but atleast 1.75 pages for 10 market

@ManchesterUnitedI strongly believe in it.

A lot depends on handwriting font size and spacing between the lines. So the words written in 1.25 pages by a candidate can be equivalent to the words written in 1.75 pages by someone else.
If one has small writing then in order to fill 3 pages will need to write 300 words, which is not possible.
