@sat_009I think section 9 is disqualification for committing corruption or disloyalty while holding an office of profit not holding office of profit per se. That's what I understood.

@TeddyWestsideoffice of profit is considered under section 9.

@Yes_I_am_inI suppose representations would be made to eci only. They "decide" and then recommend.

@Yes_I_am_ini have wriiten it..i went by news...siikim cm golay was applying tl ECI to reconsider his disqualification (after he was elected to cm)..is basis pe likha..baaki pata nhin bhai..

@ranyo_asokaeci ke pass jaata hai representation ; sahi hai ye; major remedy is election petition which goes to High court; ab yaad aa rha hai maine bhi likh dia tha office of profit aur uske remedy me likha tha ki legislature law bana sakti hai ki kaunsi post exempt hoti hain ; ab agar office of profit nh hua RPA me to katega
