Mains 2021: Doubt and strategy discussion thread

I don't know what to say, really. Prelims is over. The discussion as regards the authenticity of answer keys is the most futile discussion. So, I am creating this thread as a necessary and much-needed diversion. Three months to the biggest battle of our professional lives begins now. All comes down to how we heal and grow from now on, and either, we heal or we're gonna crumble. Day by day

We're in a toxic environment right now, fellas. Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the s**t kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. Mains is the road ahead for everyone of us notwithstanding our current predicament. So, let's continue to fight and not let our guard down.

Yours faithfully
AzadHindFauz

Help please.

I couldn't read mains 365 , as it seems too complex for me. Epic mains portion is engaging for me.

Is it okay if I only follow epic and just topics overview in mains 365?

Please provide valuable feedback

Haven't gone through Epic, so can't comment on its efficacy vis-a-vis mains 365.

But I believe that you should go with what you feel good/easy; because in mains it's all about recalling.

If you do both, I don't think you will be able to revise enough.

Important is that you believe in your sources and revise them multiple times.

A similarly cofused aspirant 😊

Time managment in mains mocks is a major problem for me. And i am finding it very difficult to track time question wise with my analog watch. Are digital watches(not smart watch) allowed in the centre? That simple 150-200₹ digital watch. Read in few old 2018 posts that it is at discretion of the centre. Is it still that way or there's some clarity? 1st attempt completely clueless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember a few people were not allowed to carry digital watch inside the exam hall at my centre. So, it's better to play safe.

Can we underline the questions in QCAB? Or should we do that in the detachable question paper?  .. especially relevant for case studies.
