@n0thing paper 1 was much simpler than p2 last year
The theories & scholars we read was not easy to put in ques of paper2, while p1 was mostly static

dont know if this is imp or not

I usually write 160 words for 10 markers .230-250= 15 markers .320-350 in 20 markers however i usually take 3/4th of the pages (letters are smaller in size) .does it affect the marking scheme?

sr toppers have written in almost all the pages

@MarcusA filling pages w/o content does not help
3/4 of page with small letters should be more than enough
Regardless, some ques would be broad enough to let you fill the pages, make use of them

Is anyone taking classes under PSIR Crash course by Shubhra ma'am? Are you finding it effective? Is there any problem that you might be facing?

I plan to join but only when i complete 2 revisions of the subject. Is it worth the time to invest?

Certain tests have validity that expires in 14 to 7 days of the test being active. Please check into that. I myself have not enrolled in the Crash Course yet because my revisions are not yet complete

Does anyone else think that evaluation of Shubhra PSIR crash course is below par .

I have gotten good marks in my very average answers .

Also not much constructive criticism.

@MarcusA Try to bring fullness and increase your font . I believe it does make a little difference

Regarding PSIR Crash course when do they provide model answers of test taken?

@Rewl1 I had taken test series a few years back. Evaluation was totally useless to say the least. Better to self evaluate. The test can be used to gauge your speed, and style of writing in 3 hours, nothing much. If you can then meet her personally, would be better.

@Spock Not much interested in tests, need feedback regarding online classes of the crash course.

@bakait Have done 2 classes , one on Hannah Arendt and other on Gramsci. They are good way to revise and also the notes provided by Ma'am are crisp enough for final revision. Also, Ma'am is covering Test discussion very comprehensively. First Test discussion went for 8 hours !
So, it is time consuming .
Decide accordingly

This doesn't really have anything to do with the exam, but I thought it was an interesting topic.

Hey is anyone on this group giving Mains 2020 from Bangalore?

I struggled to find a peer group for Mains last year in PSIR. Feel PYQ answer writing & discussion would be helpful, need someone to do this with. DM me if anyone from Blore is interested.
