Those who have written PSIR mains paper-How many pages are given for 20 marker questions? In UPSC model sheet for Pub ad, they have given 3 pages for BOTH 20 marker and 15 marker questions. If anybody can answer, please...Thank you

@dragon_rider mostly yes. Though last year 2019 mains, there was an exception. In PSIR, one paper had 4 sides for all 20 markers, while the other paper had some 20 markers with 3 sides only. My memory is a bit hazy on this, so maybe others can shed light on which paper specifically. I think Paper 2, section B questions (India and World) had 3 side 20-markers. 2018 mains had 4 sides for both, as far as I can remember. 
One has no choice but to adapt in the hall, but do give a glance through the answer booklet in the begining itself and plan accordingly.

IN 2018 ,PAPER 1 - 2 pages for 10,3 pages for 15,4 pages for 20. PAPER 2 -2 pages for 10,3 pages for both 15 and 20.         

In 2019, For both paper 1 and 2 ,2pages for 10,3 for 15,4 for 20

So i'm guessing you guys read about the criticism of India at the UN for only condemning hatred against the Abrahamic religions. It talks about furthering the "clash of civilizations". I have a strong feeling that the officer who drafted that speech had PSIR as his/her optional subject :joy:

Selective topics could be done from BL Fadia(sm, pg)

Freedom movement, perspective from Sekhar Bandopadhyay or Bipin chandra

Selective constitution topics from Bidyut Chakraborty or there is also another good book Oxford Handbook on Indian politics i guess

^^all these are good but very tough to complete in limited time
