Very much. Vivek Sir (Economy) posted he expects cutoff to be around 85-90. I too believe that will be the case.

I know this rage is temporary and it’s an every year affair. Every year tens of thousands will feel disrespected because of this exam and the sheer unfairness of it and they will have no option but to move on. However, anyone who calls this paper easy or suggests that basics or “logic” could help you clear it, please come meet me - I just wanna talk.

All this speculation about UPSC wanting to end coachings is BS, just that. If they wanted to do so, they’d stick to books- normal traditional books that everyone whether from rural area or a metropolitan can purchase and read. They won’t be making a shit fest of this sort year after year. Sure 35-40 questions can be solved from basic sources. Assuming you make absolutely no mistake in these questions, you still have to get 10-15 questions right along with negative marking. And every year there are going to be thousands who fall on the wrong side of this gamble. I am one of them this year. I lost so many questions even in questions where I had eliminated 2 options. If it’s a game of probability then it needs special kind of badluck to have so many wrong hits. And yet I know that I am not alone. I know many people are facing exactly what I am with probably much more at stake than me.

At the end of the day, we chose this for ourselves. But we also were told that there are going to be atleast some rules, some order to this chaos.@LetsGetThisBread ‘s daily targets literally kept me going on my worst days and I think it’s more than just unfair if they don’t end up with the desired result. Anyone who tries to preach about the pattern and approach of the exam at this point- please just don’t. Just stop. Let us grieve in peace ffs.

Everyone else who feels lost and hopeless, there are no right combinations of words that will make you feel any better. I have attached so much importance to this exam that I don’t even feel it when people tell me I am more than this exam. But a line from Kota Factory goes - “War mein haarne wale warriors hote hain, losers nahi” You all are warriors. Please take care.

@Shailputri you are clearing exam only 2 or 4 questions can't stop you . I am referring to basics that we should really understand what's is the question demanding and what the options are meant. There should not be any space for humane mistake in this pre exam.

@Vishnugupta ok thanks if my words hurt anyone I am sorry. Just discussion is going on pre questions so I tried to boost the moral saying that paper was very easy. I have no intention to hurt anyone. I mean that all of us will get motivated from this that someone saying easy it may be Ior anyone. Hope you understand my intention, however again sorry if I said anything wrong or hurt anyone. 🙏🙏

Ever realize keys in 2-3 hours because now they will start batches and we are nothing more than batches for them or customer so thing is even if getting 80 you can't say out of race or getting more than 100 also you can't say we are in .To which source upsc has referred is tough to tell they rely on basic understanding

Places like Karol bagh has become hub of money earning for even small purpose like economic classes

You see GDR has been mentioned not to be part of FDI and NRI deposits are but nobody (coaching)didnt even bother to check it

If there is any newcomer who is reading this, stuck at the borderline and wanting his/her answers to be correct then I’d suggest to not spend your time, mental space and energy on the different answer keys. It is almost a total waste of time, I lost 15 marks from most mainstream answer keys in UPSC 2020.

That said, disappointed that I did so many basic questions wrong even after so many revisions. Exam temperament too, is a big factor here.

We can’t control the uncontrollables (UPSC) so might as well work on controllables. Okay, maybe this time we weren’t enough, but we will be tomorrow.

Remember, the night is darkest before the sun dawns.

Wait for hardworking human prediction last time also he predicted very close (92)

Those who have cleared are in a better picture to tell the level of paper

Last time also many were saying got 110-115 from key but cut off was still 92.5 (paper was very tough then )

So better to avoid that frenzy of watching unlimited videos on cut off see some.reliable.

(Have seen somebody uploading video 🤣🤣🤣🤣being in.leisure mood that cut off would be more than 100)
