90 is very likely. Paper was tough and conventional tricks/intelligent guesses/logic were hard to apply. This was coupled by factual ques, random gk & tough csat. Anyone getting 80+ is good to start with mains. Going by precedence, result might be out by month end or Nov start.
Sorry to the guy/girl who said no paper reviews :p
Also, not many high scorers this time, which was the case last year(elimination worked pretty well last year for some). So, Ifos cut off might also not be so high.

But there are fewer vacancies this time. So that'd probably drive up the cut off a little too.

@JohnWick3 just focus on standard basic books, if u see the paper with calm mind ~ 40-45 questions were basic, nothing new. The other questions were to make u jump from your seat, some were simply not possible to know even from compilation or newspaper.

I guess the paper strategy since last year should be to not get basic questions wrong under any circumstances, rest of it if u net it then well and good.

@JohnWick3 Though I have ruined my paper but still I would say if one look at BIG PICTURE, one might agree with me, there is no need to change in basic material and reference texts. One newspaper, one monthly compilation (not annually, I never used PT365 annual compilation and 30 to 40 mock paper is quite sufficient. Yes, they aren't asking current affairs limited to one year time frame.

True however that randomness cannot be targeted so there is no point in chasing such random themes. I remember UPSC once asked question on GI Tag and every institution started giving list of GI Tag which is huge liability from student' perspective. Similarly last year UPSC asked agriculture based questions and this time market was flooded with agriculture content. So focus should be on basic materials + newspaper + 1 magazine .

Every year the topic list for aspirants keep on increasing.

Bhai 80+ based on coaching keys, which would invariably get some ques wrong. (+)(-)10 marks from coaching keys do happen many times

I don't think CSAT keys will be released anytime soon.
Plus I dont even trust them .. LAst year as per the unofficial keys, I was scoring 78 in csat, but in actual paper i got 102...
So I dont really think which keys are good for csat.

Which answer keys did you refer ?

IAS baba, clear ias and byju's

(byju's keys are very wrong. they have got very obvious questions also wrong.. refer to it as per your own discretion).

I am just waiting for forum to release their key now to see if the deal is sealed or not.
