Hyderabad "state" was formed in 1724 (I knew this year), Whereas nizamat/nawabs of arcot existed before (arcot kaafi purana naam laga though it exists aaj bhi) that too. So, I eliminated 'a' option.
Anyway. Waiting for final results.

It was dependency but not carved out from hyderabad
