[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

Same insights have marked it D in their key, not once but twice

Some people really need to get some nuance while reading the preamble question

Both A and D options are same. However D option is an extension of A.

A just says that preamble has no legal implication

D says it has no implication independent of others

Obviously the whole basic structure is based on the ideals of the preamble.

Obviously the various legal and fundamental rights and provisos give fruition to the objectives forwarded in the preamble

Secularism , that is expressly provided for only in the preamble has been used by bommai case.

Obviously preamble has no legal implication.

But read it with the constitution it forwards only those ideals that preamble provides for.

The option A would have been correct had there been no option D. That's the case with that tourist officer question. Not with UPSC

Perfectly answered.. A would be correct without D.  But since option D is an extension of A, it is the best possible answer.

Very tensed

Scoring 112 in GS

But in CSAT probably on border

Nextias- 67.75

Vajiram- 71.75

Shankar-71.75

Pata nahi kya hoga??

Bhai log clear hoga kya?

Last attempt 😚🤔

There are 9 comprehension wrong answers according to shankar key in 2018 and it was 5 in 2019 ( as some of answers in shanakar key gave two answers, one of them turned out to be correct ) when compared with final key. So it's not yet conclusive about RCs and their answers. Abhi toh consider you are in the race. 3 questions in your favour will get you almost 10 marks. (2.5+0.8)  *3

Checked for RC's with their keys and compared with final keys of upsc.

2018  shankar key : https://www.iasparliament.com/uploads/downloads/CSAT_Preliminary_2018_Final.pdf

2019 shankar key : https://www.iasparliament.com/uploads/downloads/Prelims_2019_CSAT_Key-Series_D_www.iasparliament.com.pdf

Compared them with upsc final keys. Most of the assumption questions went wrong with this key.

Hi, UPSC has not declared the marks for CSE 2019. Can anyone file a PIL as not declaring previous year's marks before conducting the present year Mains, amount to harassment of students. How can one know where he/she missed out. It could be a simple thing - maybe he/she missed in language paper. So until, one know the marks of previous year - it is difficult to improve upon!

Also doubts might rise as in why they are not declaring the marks - considering the final list is out?

UPSC should have been more responsible.

Aurang ki key seems most apt...but shankarias revised their key so did nextias...which has 21-22 answers similar to aurangs key
