Official: SFG / RLG All Tests Discussions in one place

Hello All,

The Group usage here is a little cumbersome, so I am creating this thread to make sure that all questions with doubts stay in one place. Can someone push all the doubts and queries here? I will make this an announcement?

@Pratik Marakwad kali nadi is same as kali river. Moreover what you are saying is also right. So both options i.e "a or d ".can be considered right.

Q 42. Pliz have a look.... I find Duars formation is common in foothills of both sikkim, darjeeling himalayas and of arunachal himalayas..... Correct me if m wrong... How preference is given to sikkim darjeeling himalayas?

The NCERT mentions about arunachal himalayas due to roughed topography the inter-valley transportation linkages are notional so, most interactions are through duar region along arunachal assam border. Pg no 14

We are supposed to find the best suitable option. If such a question comes in UPSC, we cannot fight with them. The answer will be Sikkim and Darjeeling Himalayas in this ase.

TEST 25  Q 13

Answer is A as per the explanation and otherwise but the correct answer given is C

The boundary line separating one drainage basin from the other is known as Water divide

There is nothing wrong with the second statement, The boundary line separating one drainage basin from the other is known as the watershed. A drainage divide, water divide, divide, ridgeline, watershed, water parting or height of land is elevated terrain that separates neighboring drainage basins. The answer will be c only. They must have been trying to elaborate on the second statement's explanation.

Please update your information regularly. The recent ISFR has clearly mentioned otherwise. Do check. Someone has updated a picture of the same.

Please do not refer to GK today for previous year questions. You can check and verify the answer from UPSC Ques paper and answer key. This is a 2014 question paper, I am attaching the links for the question paper and answer key. And to make it easier for you, This is Q.23. The answer is A only.

@Neyawn Sir, I am fortunate enough to have my house in Delhi only so I moved back home. But I have friends who are still there and they tell me things are tough but they are managing. My friends are cooking on their own. Everytime they leave the room to get the vegetables, they walk a bit fast, maintain distance and live under the fear of contracting the virus. Shops have queues but not sure about the 7AM thing. Anyway, going home, shifting, with all the books and paraphernalia was just not an option for them. So everyone.s hanging in there.

Thank you once again, Sir.

@Neyawn Sir, please don.t mind me asking this here, but why are Simulators priced so highly?

I really wanted to join but the 7k price tag is acting as a bit of a deterrent..
