The Group usage here is a little cumbersome, so I am creating this thread to make sure that all questions with doubts stay in one place. Can someone push all the doubts and queries here? I will make this an announcement?

SFG Batch 2: Test 28. Q: 26
Dear Forum IAS Team,
As its evident that Uttar Pradesh is the now the leading sugarcane and sugar producing State in the country and Not Mahrashtra, please try to make your question paper more dynamic and not just restricted to Copy Paste from NCERT.It has happened in the past as well. You know it very well that there are few areas which are dynamic and hence get changed temporally.
Also, before posting the solutions and rank list, please do consider the comments posted here. Else this platform becomes more of a "safety valve" rather than giving any meaningful output.
Thanks.

Hi,
For Ques no 21, Why are you sending and pasting a link from 2018? It is 2 years old. Update your information and Please cross-verify your information from authentic sources.
The Indian Standard IS 10500: 2012 for Drinking Water specification has specified the maximum acceptable limits for radioactive residues as alpha and beta emitters, values in excess of which render the water not suitable. These requirements take into account all radioactive elements including uranium. No individual radioactive elements have been specifically identified.

and for Q.4- The question clearly mentions that arrange the following in the increasing order. This isnot a CSAT paperthat you will consider the ''greater than and less than sign''. They must have used that to show a transition from one form of transport to others.

Please and Please referring to Jagranjosh as a source for your UPSC preparation. This is a previous year question from 2011, answer is B only. Search for the official paper online if you want.
Given answer of Question no 4 of Test 28 is wrong.
Answer should be Road>Railway>Waterway>Air
Greater than sign has been used instead of using arrows. It is misleading.
The question clearly mentions that arrange the following in the increasing order. This is not a CSAT paper that you will consider the ''greater than and less than sign''.
@Thinker today's test, question 26_- UP is largest producer of sugarcane as per recent data and not Maharashtra
I hope they change the answer accordingly.
Wind energy causes noise pollution Q 18
UP is the largest producer of sugarcane.
Q.18) Isn't wind energy pollution-free? How does wind energy cause noise pollution? The turbines may cause it. Just asking for my clarification. Also, this is a verbatim statement from the NCERT. You can check that when you read it.
And for UP, I hope they change the answer.
@Thinker Test 28 Question 18
Statement 2 : 2. Wind Energy is a pollution free energy resource.
Isn't windmills cause noise pollution?
Windmills may cause noise pollution, but how does your explanation help negating the statement that wind energy is pollution-free. Also, this is a statement from the NCERT.
@Disciple Please reply regarding the issue of River Negro. Please address the same. The revised ranklist just mentions about question 26.
Test 30, Ques 37, The explanation used in the solution for Statement 1 is not for Tropical evergreen forest but Temperate Evergreen Forests. Please check and provide a correct solution or check if the statement itself is wrong because staple trees in tropical evergreen are ebony, rosewood, mahogany which are definitely tall although some maybe broad-leaved
SFG Batch 2 :
Test 30. Q:37
Correct answer should be option "d" as answer key of Forum IAS mistakenly wrote Mediterranean instead of Tropical. Kindly correct it.
Test 30: Q: 24
Energy always flows from "Producer to Consumer"(Unidirectional) and thats how Thermodynamics works. The statement has a wrong Technical wording. It can never be "All Directional" which means "Producer to Consumer" and Consumer to Producer".
It is actually the "many pathways" in Food Web not "all directions". So None of the statements are correct in this question.

Kindly review Q:37 & Q: 24.
Thanks.
