If UPSC does not want to brew this matter/CSP-23 any longer, lest it goes Agnipath protests way. The rumors seem credible that they want to give out results fast, even if it means working overtime.

What was the number of applicants in the cleared-csat category last year?

Can anyone help here?

maybe no one knows

as no one really cared as much

this year they went extreme with it

only 17% clearing csat if this 84000 is true

if avg 5 lakh ppl write pre (prob more)

might have significant effect on cutoffs

I don't understand this theory of OMr being checked only of 84K this sounds awkward→ how they will sort out 84k our out of 10 lakh, would take lot of manual effort, for a machine it would not be a lot of effort to check all the OMR

@Philosopher_King As far as I know, OMRs of all candidates are scanned only once and data is stored in the system. If there are any key changes, updated key runs on the OMR data already stored in the system.

So far prelims rituals are concerned this is the one I wait for most :p saxennaji liking his own post and thereby giving aspirants a lesson in self love.

This is posted in th group named  UPSC CSE UPDATES

"Shocks

1. Approx 12,500 to be selected for mains
2.Less than 8,000 qualifying in actual "

This is incredible, if it's true.

P.S. wonder how these guys get this kind of information.
