Functions of stomata in plants: Stomata in plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen for photosynthesis. Stomata helps respiration in plants by absorbing oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide
Does stomata perform both the functions?
Yes, stomata performs both the functions.
Stomata allow for gas exchange acting as an entryway for carbon dioxide and releasing the Oxygen that we breath.
Plants get oxygen from the air through the stomata. Respiration takes place in the mitochondria of the cell in the presence of oxygen, which is called "aerobic respiration". In plants, there are two types of respiration: dark respiration and photo respiration. The first kind occurs in the presence or absence of light, while the second occurs exclusively in the presence of light.
The other main function is regulating water movement through transpiration.
Consider the following statements regarding Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme
1. It covers all the farmers (subject to certain exclusion criterion)
2. It is a Central Sector Scheme with 100% funding from government of India
Which of the above statement(s) is/are correct?
Explanation
Exp) Option (c) Both 1 and 2
Doubt:Shouldn't the first option have mentioned all landholder farmers instead of just farmers? Expecting a quick response.
sharecroppers are excluded..option A is a bit dubious...since sharecropper is a farmer...
how long can a local government(Municipal ) election be postponed ? is there any section in rpa 1951 or constitution....
Article 243U of indian constitution says that they should be conducted before the expiry of the duration of current municipality; if dissolved sooner, then they should be held before the end of 6 months after the dissolution.
So they can be postponed for a maximum of 6 months after dissolution.
Is it really necessary to read from india year book? If you can tell
If u r a fresher u SHOULD refer some important chapter as it's necessary that u KNOW your country better than an average citizen if u want to get into its bureaucracy !!
Otherwise if u have read it once, then u can think about alternative indirect learnings.
I will suggest u to read once !

Rest other options, RBI as an organisation decides it. (MPC isn't pure RBI org, is a separate body and has members from outside as well)
because it depends directly on Repo, but recently due to COVID-19, RBI, not MPC reduced reverse repo as well without depending on repo Rate to discourage banks parking money with RBI). Bank Rate and MSF also depends on Repo RateMPC's only mandate is inflation targeting with growth in mind
