@Steph_Curry high leverage ratio means that banks ability to lend decreases hence borrowers are at loss.
It is a prudential measure mainly to help the banks to avoid shocks in terms of liquidity.(as far as my understanding).
Is high leverage ratio for a bank good or bad?
First of all, awesome username lol
A high leverage ratio for a bank would mean that it can lend less on the same capital base. The leverage ratio ensures that banks are able to meet the short term stress. So during the current economy where it is more beneficial for banks to lend, a lower leverage ratio would be better (RBI did decrease the Leverage Ratio). This means the banks can lend more on the same capital base since they have to keep less as reserve.
Isn't the question about GDP and not the rate of GDP steadily increasing? So even if rate of GDP growth has decreased, in a couple of years, the GDP itself has increased steadily. Please correct me if I am wrong.Would the first statement be correct now given that GDP contracted in Q1 of 2020?

This is a 2011 question I think.
And not just on basis on 2020 contraction, GDP has not steadily increased.
2019 was 5.02%, a 1.1% decline from 2018.
2018 was 6.12%, a 0.92% decline from 2017.
2017 was 7.04%, a 1.21% decline from 2016.
2016 was 8.26%, a 0.26% increase from 2015
For the second statement though, where it explicitly mentions rate of per capita income, I guess we can say it has not steadily increased.

I am inclined to think otherwise for Statement 1. Could be wrong.
recently went through a question which mentioned Coriolis is mandatory for meander formation..is it so?, coriolis only has an impact on the movement, however is it really required to form a meander?
It helps though. Verbatim from Geography NCERT Class XI...You would hardly find a river meandering in the equatorial region because of the same.
Can someone explain how export is the right answer? I thought it would be consumption.
@dragon_rider Tourism is considered as an Invisible export. Foreign nationals will spend their currency here, hence increasing foreign exchange and likewise.
