Could Zamindars at the same time be Peasants ?
As we all know that when peasants were not able to meet the land revenues demanded by the government, they would be forced to sell off their lands. But, we also know that Zamindars also used to have large lands with them as their owner and they would employ agriculturelabours for the cultivation.
I have the following 3 questions:
1. Can we safely say that Zamindars were also peasants as they also had lands that were used for cultivation?
2. What would happen if Zamindars were not able to meet the land revenue requirements for their own land. Did government sell Zamindar's land in that case?
3. Were landless agriculture labours also knows as Peasants ? If, yes the responsibility to pay tax were in hand of the actual land owners, right ?, And was there any term for these people who had land with them but actual cultivation was done by agriculture labours ?
So the Chandrabhaga beach has been reported to get blue flag certification. But no govt document or official website source confirms this. Whats the status of the beach?
According to various news sources, including WION, it's the first beach in Asia to get the Blue Flag certification.
Would the first statement be correct now given that GDP contracted in Q1 of 2020?
This is a 2011 question I think.
And not just on basis on 2020 contraction, GDP has not steadily increased.
2019 was 5.02%, a 1.1% decline from 2018.
2018 was 6.12%, a 0.92% decline from 2017.
2017 was 7.04%, a 1.21% decline from 2016.
2016 was 8.26%, a 0.26% increase from 2015
Regarding statement 1, I think here we are asked about the gross gdp. From the data that you have mentioned we can deduce that gdp "growth" has not increased consistently. However, since there is growth, that is, the change in GDP is positive it implies that the GDP (and not GDP growth rate) has increased consistently.
Thanks. Some mock test mentioned it can be purchased by foreigners but couldn't find any such news on internet. :|
Is there a system of Intra court appeal in Supreme court?
Generally, no. Once the Supreme court (even a single judge bench) passes an order/judgement, it is final. This is why the SC is called a polyvocal court. One speaks for all.
The only way it can be revisited on the initiative of the aggrieved is by way of review. Review is permissible onextremely limited groundsand not as a matter of course. So, generally, even a fullstop cannot be changed once a judgement is passed even by a single judge bench of the SC.
Of course, this is all discounting the fact that the SC does what it wants nowadays without caring for due procedure. As the saying goes, "We are not final because we are infallible, but we are infallible because we are final."

Official site says that there is no blue flag certified beach in india and blue flag baeches are already present in asia.
@Rj_Khan @TabsAndChords Wow thank you both so much. I definitely would have gotten that wrong if such a question comes up. I stand corrected.
