After writing practise one knows how to have points

but upsc couldn’t care less about the number of points if you don’t know the answer to the point

GS4 is the most over rated paper after prelims. An IPS who was caught cheating scored one of the highest in Gs4 in the previous years he gave mains.

Moreover, why this craziness of testing ones writing speed? If you really want to test a candidate's aptitutude in ethical situations, give him more time to think.

Even a real life administrator is never in such a hurry.

Anyways, after 6 attempts, I have been thoroughly disillusioned with this examination process. Rther than questioning the illegitimate and illogical process of selection, coaching wallahs will always encourage you to find fault in yourself. (akhir bread and butter Hai inka).

UPSC needs serous reforms, otherwise youth will keep wasting their youthfulness over this shoddy exam.

sir you are senior so please don't take my words seriously. you said you have been thoroughly disillusioned with the examination process. but the sad thing is perhaps you never got disillusioned with your own self and your inherent weaknesses. get disillusioned in that direction maybe. I have been a consistent failure in this exam, and even if i never clear this exam, I won't blame anyone but myself because why would anyone work hard for any exam they don't trust. again sir sorry i have deep respect for your resilience but also deep scepticism for some things. I have deep respect for your resilience like i said so i won't use the muhawara khisiyani billi khamba noche here

Old forum vibes are back. Jokes apart, while people can have different opinions, I think there needs to be some reasonableness on the part of UPSC. Perhaps they should have a trial run where the paper setters solve the question paper in timed conditions. They'd atleast get some idea whether the paper actually tests what they intended to test in the first place or is it losing some of its efficacy. :P

The organisers of oylmpics should be first tested in various sports to see if they could compete. organisers of world chess championship should be first made to compete against carslen to see if they could win under timed conditions. that should be the parameter to see if they could organise the tournament or not.
