Guys, Essay Paper is over. How was it?
Brother, kya ap jaante ho main sabse jyada frustrated Kab Tha??When I failed my first mains..Couldn't sleep for 3-4daya after the result...This is the chillest mains I have appeared since I first appeared in 2016.Reason??Realisation that the nature of exam is such that either you are lucky, or you are born with talents that fits upsc criteria..And most importantly I find money and peace in endeavours away from UPSCMy intention is in no way to undermine the achievement of those who clear this exam. But to make newbies aware of the realities of this exam, so that the stress caused due this exam is powered, and no one wastes 5-6 years of their youthful year.Frustration Hota to UPSC jaakar todfod karta. Yaha keyboard warrior nahi Banta..
Bhai dil jeet lia aapne..turnover wali bat dekh ke dil khush ho gaya..5th attempt hai mera bhi to chije samajh sakta hu mai bhi...Jo hoga dekha jayega. Hope for best bhai ji ...hua to thik warna zindagi me kuch na kuch accha to karhi liye jayega.

Bhai apka turnover sunkar entrepreneurship badhiya backup lag raha hai. Kuchh guidance de idhar bhi gurudev:P
@mahi2501 frustration bas isi baat ka Hai ki aaj Jo 10 cr turnover ki company banayi Hai Maine within a year, wo shayad 50-60 crore ki hoti agar 2016 me main UPSC chorke entrepreneur banta
That might have been true but ifs and buts toh kafi hote hai life me..you never know the intangible benefits you got from upsc preparation which might have helped in your entrepreneurial journey.. Finally in long run if you are to make it a few lakh crore company it won't matter when you started it.
Yes i do agree this exam takes a lot from you, even I'm a 5th attempter and still in upsc chakravyuh and newer aspirants should be made aware of the bitter truth rather than painting a rosy picture but at the end of the day its our choice to take this exam and worst of all ours only to continue taking it year after year, thinking this year will be the last one.
But at the same time i can see the difference in myself, the person that I'm today and what i was when i started preparation. Some of it may be just because of getting older and wiser but a lot of it is also due to upsc preparation and widening of horizons of thinking that it provides.
All the best for your future upsc as well as non-upsc endeavours.

Is there any group for interview preparation? Particularly, where those who have given mains can interact through video call and schedule each others mock interviews?

han bhai aise toh baki bhi extinct ho jayenge. 2 mahina kaise niklega bakio ka.
anyway i think it wont be more than last year for sure. i see absolutely no reason for cutoff to rise.
@ishantipnis23947 hi. Are you selected candidate 2021 from history optional ? If yes then how was your mapping and overall history paper. Mine is 14 correct.
Yes..not sure this time as there are many doubtful ones this time as points were not exactly plotted and state boundaries added to the clutter..also the proportions of physical and political are different so grid lines don't work that accurately..
But yeah even I'm in the range of 14-15
