[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

I totally agree with analysis in the last 2 to 3 days that coaching tests should be avoided in the last moment. PYQ is important.

My fellow glass wearing people, does anyone have any solution to the glasses fogging up when wearing masks?

@dragon_rider No solution yet. Will do one of these two

1) Bring the mask down if the invigilator does not make a fuss

2) If 1) doesn't work I will remove my chashma. I tried and it does not make difference to my performance. Unless you have very high power or long sightedness you can try this in a mock.

use it with this mask. they are designed in such a way that when you exhale air passes towards chin and not towards eyes. Also no ear pain. Only issue is that seal is not very tight but then it does make it comfortable.

@dragon_rider low-effort jugaadu solution. if you have a fairly breathable mask, you can try making it as tight as possible on the top edge, so the gap between the mask and your face is minimal. Compensate by leaving it loose at the bottom. Worked for me. And you could try to bring the glasses a bit down and inclined (as pictured) - shouldn’t be a problem since you’ll be looking down at the paper anyway. Looks like a scary school principal but gets the job done :p

Wash your glasses with soap and water before the exam. Fogging is considerably reduced this way. Give it a try once. It worked well in my case.

Could anyone please help.

Will they allow to wear/wrap a bandana or a handkerchief around face instead of a face mask?

I sweat alot and I’m not sure if the centre would be having adequate amount of fans/cooling system in the exam hall plus my area is a bit humid too.

And can anyone suggest any specific type of mask for people who sweat alot. What type of mask are you planning to wear on the D-Day?

In my case, 3ply surgical masks would get wet instantly. N95 is good but there is a risk of running short of breath as well as irritation due to excessive sweating near mouth area as a result of wearing mask.

p.s.- face mask nahi shaadi ki sherawani hogayi hai. Samajh hi nahi aa raha kaun sa lu :/
