[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

I want to warn future beaurocrats . What ev u write online . Even if in private mediums like wattsapp and telegram is ur digital history . India's capacity to process information has reached sky high . Dont think we r backward in that regard . With help of allies like isreal and usa we have made credible infra in recent yrs and it ll only be strengthened in future . I have my frnds in such areas and i knw it . So keep ur political opinion 2 urself be it pro or anti bjp . Political systems keep changing. Keep that in mind . GOI has the capacity to process ur past in 2030 based on wht u thought in 2020 . It wont matter if u r a road side shop owner . But it ll if u r secretary in GOI . So dnt take it lightly . We dnt knw which party ll be in power in 2030
Basically, what you are saying is, big brother is watching. So, we better keep our opinions to ourselves already, before we are even in service. The lure of future employment and perks should be motivation enough. Imma pass, thanks.
Got into this and made my sacrifices with the idealism of trying to change the world, with the full realisation that I would most likely be unable to do so even if I were successful in my endaevour. Either ways, I know that changing the world isn't going to happen if one stays silent about perversion of democratic values. All a disempowered citizen can do right now is to express dissent when he does not agree. Anyone who isn't part of the service as of now is just a citizen and nothing prevents him or her from speaking out.Especially, if you are an aspiring civil servant, the lure of future employment is the last thing that should prevent you from expressing dissent.If one wants to trade his individuality, his authenticity, and his values for a government job, he becomes part of the problem. (Remember my man Gogoi?)
Dissent must be balanced and come from a place of reason rather than personal bias is all. But where necessary, dissent must always be expressed. It's not just true about democracy, but in life.
@Howzthejosh The problem isn't about whether the show should be telecasted or not anymore.The idea has already entered in discourse. Now WhatsApp university and social media will do the rest.I used to be a strong supporter of social media and free speech at one point. Now I feel it has the potential to create unrest and social tensions, as it's become a free playground for propagandists of all kind.

lol...Don't you see ? These platforms are freeby design. Theywant more admissions in these universities. Theywant to feed off the Animalistic instincts of Homo Sapiens. They want people to develop theneed for external validationand end up as an aggressive or depressed beings when likes and comments ain't enough. They want these riots, lynching, communal tensions etcto be perpetuated indefinitelybecause it draws more crowds, fangs more animalistic spirts and brings out the worst of humankindwhile filling the coffers of a select few CODERS ofsilicon valley.
Only then, thecommon people(in ojha sir's lingo) will remain common people. Only then thepowerfulwill stay powerful. As the saying goes, if we’re not paying for the product, we’re the product.
One thing I learnt is that world is never going to be perfect(because meaning of perfectionism varies with every individual). You should work towards things you believe in and change them if it is in your capacity, the way you want to. Never complain and never explain(not a sacrosanct rule), because people see and believe what they want to not the truth(if it exists). Also if not for a emotional point of view nothing else really matters, so work towards thing you believe in, one big bang and all of us are gone.

Selection ke baad vaise bhi “part of the system” ki dorr sebandhjaana hai. Tab galat ko galat kaha hi bol paogay.

Don't be too complacent about not being "part of the system" now.
From this year, they have started background check of selected candidates by IB also. God only knows how this information will be used.

i would disagree... psyche will/might not be developed in the last ten days, it is a protracted talent.. the only relevant thing in this final lap is revision.. you will see a quantum jump in the competition now and that too merely because of serious padhai
