[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

- The Inner Line Permit was established by the British government under the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation, 1873 to safeguard tribals of eastern part of Bengal. This 1873 Regulation is also known as ILR or ILP.
- Under Section 2 of the Regulation of 1873, the ILP was only applicable to the three North Eastern States such as, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Recently, on December 11, the President signed the order extending ILP to Manipur, which became the fourth state where the ILP regime is applicable.

You're confusing between the two concepts.
ILP area's extension/modification is assented to by the President after a bill to that effect is passed by the legislature.
ILP document which you and I need to visit protected areas are issued by the state governments concerned.

Hi! Looking for some advice here. I completed all the UPSC CSAT papers and the score ranged from 95 to 115. Normally I attempt 40-45+ (error range is 4-6). I now plan to focus simply on the GS 1 bit for prelims. Is it risking too much or extra care is needed as such? Looking for some wisdom, you guys!
Are the tests be it insights Or vision really tough this time Or am I the one who is not able to score? My avg score is 88-98.i have cleared prelims thrice.

This year the number of tests have increased bcoz of extra time so these institutes want to make questions different from their previous test, but their previous tests covered lot of topics(from sources which we generally refer) so they are making tests like this

It's been a pleasure learning from the best here. Honestly, Lockdown blues almost forced me to create an account on this blog. But the spirit of this platform is impeccable. Over the course of my 3 years long journey so far, I have been advised to beselfish and not share things as we are supposed to becompeting.But I always had the conviction that given a chance, I sure would like to put useful things, that I have learnt, out there and in the process learn from others too. I always believed that there must be people out there who do not stick to these so calles rules. And over the course of 5 months, my belief has only been strengthened.

Then there is@Patootie. Craves no appreciation. Just selflessly Keeps posting factoids, sharing wisdom (probably acquired over at least a couple of years of painful struggle) and oozing class with his/her words of positivity.

And i can go on. I have full faith that All of you wonderful people will not only do wonders in this exam but will also go on to change the fortunes of millions of less privileged people who have been crying out for innovative and emotionally intelligent officers like you

And all of you -I can't even begin to name anyone because Iliterallymean all of you- have just been so wonderful. You were, and still are, part of my recovery, and I cannot thank you enough for that. If I have been able to brighten up your day even a little bit, that is all I could ask for.
I'll leave you with one thought that has stayed with me over the years: "You are the Universe expressing yourself as a human being for a little while." So, stay real. Not even a month old here in forum, and the respect for you all guys I have is immense. So much of money to those institutes with no use and here we have priceless wisdom from you all amazing people.
