[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

It was the toughest UPSC prelims paper since 2016 for me-  cleared 3 prelims previously (skipped 2019) but now either cutoff goes too low this year(85's-90's) type or I am out of the game.

@MC Cullum   I was just wondering because I marked c and b a lot as bus bich bich mein d wala break lagta tha. itne kitne d ho gaye sab ke mein woh soch rai.majority d waale hai toh mera kya hoga 😅Once in my home state na there was paper uska final answer key nikla toh line se d the row mein.

That's why I turned pages immediately and started reverse from 100.. At least questions were doable there...Also a lot of D's, then a lot of C's were there...

I found the paper to be above average ...on a difficulty scale of 1-10 , it was 7.5.Certainly,with each passing year,prelims is becoming unconventional and the need to focus more on current affairs and their interlinkage cant be emphasized enough.

I think cutoff should be similar to last year's.

Is it just me or the passages were tough? 


I have been scoring 110+ for three years, but was finding passages tough, so focused on quant and logical reasoning - ended up attempting only 44. If accuracy is low this could get on the border, wow. What an awful day
