[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

All are non financial

Invoked Packing credit, letter of credit, Bank Guarantee etc are non financial debt on households. Housing loan is financial debt and has Emi even when moratorium is there , there is a compulsory interest serving criteria. Credit card too has grace period of 50 days and then outstanding amount has to be paid. Treasury bill is not any debt. It is debt on government.

FDI question

Q.6: What is meant by Foreign Investment, Foreign Direct Investment and Foreign Portfolio Investment?

Answer: Foreign Investment means any investment made by a person resident outside India on a repatriable basis in capital instruments of an Indian company or to the capital of an LLP.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is the investment through capital instruments by a person resident outside India (a) in an unlisted Indian company; or (b) in 10 percent or more of the post issue paid-up equity capital on a fully diluted basis of a listed Indian company.

Makes more sense than the definition on wikitionary. This question was probably asked due to classification of taxes as operational credit and not financial credit in ibc.

I will recommend you to look up definition of NFD online and then give your opinion. I marked 3 only and i need to know for sure.

Wasn't expecting this - and I hate seeing other people post similar things - but I'm ending up with 127/130 from different keys.

I guess I'll just start with mains a week from now.

But this investment is not limited to listed companies you can set up a new unlisted company and it will still be fdi.

The question was about which of the first two statements attract most fdi.

Both statements are correct on their own as both kind of fdi comes in india. The question was about which one is more

Thanks man. Was getting about 105. Add 2.66 if this one is correct. Let's see what the result says.

One thing is for sure, the sadistic people who set the question paper do their research on coaching materials and leave a lot of room for guessing so that hard working people are scrued.
