last year maine 2017 ke marking pattern ke hisab se cutoff 800 socha tha, jitne logo ne 2017 ke marking pattern se 800 se kam score lagaya hoga khud ka unka nahi hua mostly,
man lo last year trend ke hisab se mai bol raha ki 780 round cutoff, so last year ke marking pattern se kisi ka itna aa raha ho to wo interview call ke liye most probable hai fir chahe upsc ki marking pattern use 850 kyu na de de

1. Pvt member bill- First 17 years, 19bills became act, but in 16th LS,900 bills passed with only 2 being discussed. Friday Syndrome (2.5hrs discussion for Pvt member bill)
2. Anti-defection- Gave recent examples of Goa, Karnataka,
3. Debates and discussion- Decline quoted some PRS data.
4. Breach of privilege- throwing pepper,abusive language etc
5. Criminalisation- ADR data- 35percnt MP elected had crinal background

PS- Don't abuse(unbecoming of Civil servants). Most of my GS2 answers were below average. This Qs, I know so could write avg answers. Overall, I felt this year GS2 was like- BHAI PUCHNA KYA CHA RHE HO?

What ur plan now considering the unpredictability of upsc ?

As per 2017 marking pattern what would be cut off as per u?

isss thread ko padhke, yaa mains over hone ke baad se forum pe aaake motivation kam dar aur badta hai bas. So much negativity here at forum.

I agree with u..but don't u think fall in gs1 in 2018 was due to difficult paper rather than tough marking...I am just asking...more marks in gs3 in 2017 was due to easy question like budget provision, growth and saving,

A doubt from my side
This time disaster management (zonation ,valunerability) and internal security (OGWs)
Came So how should we cover such topics ??

Great ans.. Covered both causes and effects..

@sat_009If prelims cutoff from 2018 n probably 2019 are considered then we can clearly see a shift towards lower cutoffs...same thing was seen in 2018 mains cutoff even after less no of ppl writing mains.....so possibly iss baar bhi with much stricter checking upsc cutoff ko vapas aur niche le ja skti hai like pre 2016 era....aur ques bhi aise the ki vaha pr kuch readymade content vomit krke nai aa skte the
