Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@AllMightHope to hum bhi yahi karte hain but life is not fair.Agar aisa hota to Hitler itne logon ko nahi maar pata,acche bureaucrats ki izzat hoti aur khemka jaise haalat na hote,satyendra kumar dube nahi marta,nirbhaya aur anita dewan ke saath jo hua wo na hota.
Hum to bas mehnet hi kar sakte hain.
Baaki to luck aur upar wale ka haath hai..

@STI differ from you about test series and PYQ.
I am also from socio.Did not do any test series neither previous year questions(neither for socio nor for GS).
Read 476 IGNOU chapters(both ba and ma),read blue haralambous book(fat one complete),read anthony giddens(fat one green-selected),nitin sangwan book(complete),tusharanu sharma notes(complete),bk nagala(selected),ar desai book(complete),yogendra singh(complete),social movements in india ghanshyam shah(complete),xaxa report(complete) and recent newspaper examples.Those books where complete is written were read line by line.Made handwritten notes from all of them worth 1507 pages and mugged them up and revised total 7 times.
Yeh sab karne ke baad na to test series ka time bacha tha na previous year questions ka.
Regarding paper i finished both of them with lots of thinkers and current examples.Yes paper 2 was unconventional but not difficult.
Baaki ho sakta hai I might be wrong and get very less marks or might be right and get one of the highest marks in India.
Bhagwan accha hi karega.

I have seen many .....vision marks reflects only how much you have followed their material.....
Upsc is totally different. In fact vision material are so overloaded that they make preparation lengthy.keep simple....

top iit se pde hue and top mba collegewale bank ka bhi dete hai ye bhi kam sunne ko milta hai. bhai is exceptional in all aspects.
or to or bhai ne 1st attempt anthro se dia and despite scoring 250 that too without breaking much sweat bhai changed to sociology in 2nd attempt. true madlad!

I initially thought he is DKT, but he is replying politely and has never used the famous DKT quote "aap chaudhary mat bano" a single time. So he is just another guy who is insecure about his performance in mains and thus want to show off how much he has prepared as if we mere mortals gave mains after 3 month sabbatical.

@hirockyrocks7101Yes I m insecure about my performance just like everyone else. If we r sure in a subjective paper we r gods.If I wanted to show off I could make tall claims like I scored 310 and 290s in optional in previous attempts as done by some people here and when I asked their marksheet they vanished.
I was brave enough to post my marksheet.
As for downgrading other's achievements I only wanted to target people who still don't believe I did these many notes.they themselves don't do it and consider others to be the same.
I would still vouch for my hardwork and for each word I said in previous post but would still say I don't know if I had done bad or good enough to stand among the best in sociology.
Nobody knows how much they will score and I m 1 among them.
I intended to highlight the process.
And no I won't shift to pub ad after doing phd level studies in socio.
And yes if u wish to believe I m crazy then it's ok.Crazy people do something which others don't.

And yes I did score 250 in anthrowith the studies of b school.
If u wish to make fun of me and consider me crazy u r free but I would still vouch for each word I wrote in previous post.
I still can't digest the fact why people here r finding it difficult to believe me.
When u do spend 17.5 lakh on studies and have already left several jobs which could have given roi in a single year a then u become crazy to clear the exam at all costs.
Just because 99 percentage of people haven't done anything this doesn't mean rest 1 percent would also not do so.
When somebody isn't part of coaching they have no idea what to study and what to read and thus they end up reading everything
I intended to only highlight the process and not claim that I would definitely get results I m expecting.I might get more than that or less than that but I am satisfied with the process and the amount of hard work I had put in.

I was brave enough to post my marksheet.
People don't post their marksheets because they don't want to blow their anonymity, it should not be assumed that they are making stuff up to impress random people on the internet.
@Dijkstrajust because somebody knows ur name doesn't mean they have ur photo, bank account number, cvv,or password.
People do make random stuff to impress people.I read about jack dawson episode here.
@bevancomi truly believe ki you were cutoff from outer world in your exam prep time; thats why you are so desperate to get social approval now from anonymous people; dude you said that you don't care if someone believes you or not but then you are continuosly2 writing essay kind of posts to prove your point !!
@TeddyWestsideAcha hai essay ki practice ho jayega.
Anyways I m not in mood to study today and hence long posts.
They aren't to gain anybody s approval.
