Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

Yes u r correct. Electric and magnetic fields were combined by Maxwell. Strong and weak forces were later on combined by Abdus Salam et al. I know dear. Transmission of electric power here means long range Transmission not transmission within a room or home. Transmission from power house to sub power station or to household. Hope it help.
Regarding that AI question I have something to say though I am not an expert in these technologies.
Everyone knows that for transmission of electricity one needs a closed path for movement of electrons. We cannot move electrons in air that is simply not possible. But I think UPSC is asking current trends in wireless transfer of electrical energy/power which we commonly know as wireless charging of smartphones through EMI. Companies like WiTricity are using AI for their products. There is also HARMAN Smart Automotive Wireless Charger and ROBOQI 2 Alexa Smart Charger which claims to use Artificial Intelligence in it. I am not 100% sure that it is widely used or effectively being used but if UPSC has asked the question in a generalistic way then there is high probability of answer being D(all).
Or if it goes in that digital signature question way then answer will be 1,3 and 4 only.

Apart from these, the words like effectively, At the present level, meaningful make B more probable. In S&T question upsc has never used such adjectives.
