I gave mock today as per the ideal simulated environment which I had faced in 2020 attempt of UPSC and other exams. My ideal scenario -

1. Less than 4 hours of sleep

2. Exam hall located at the top most floor with sun rays glaring on my face

3.  Invigilators discussing how their neighbor eloped with another caste boy

4. Just like Interstellar movie where every "clock ticking" on miller's planet was extended to 1.25 seconds as to how time flies, I did the same as every 1 second in the exam becomes 1.25 there also.

Damn, It felt so much like UPSC real examination :|

So I tried these in the CSAT paper. and now I know why the real exam is so mentally exhausting.

Used this for the inviligators chirping.

Perfect checklist!:massage:

Oh myy goddd!!.

I can't stop laughing 🀣🀣.

Desperate times call for desperate means..

Surely going to use this one for the next csat mock.. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@sjerngal Previous Shankar IAS mock is very much on line of UPSC prelims but today's Shankar IAS mock I found more inclined towards Current affairs and S&T. Today test is not a balanced one considering Less Modern History part. Polity questions are also current affairs driven.

Last simulator 150, this one 117.33, big fall
Test was relatively easier than upsc. Also the test was not as lengthy as upsc paper.

I guess this is generally used as focus track for people who like to work in coffee house or background indistinguishable noise.

You can't understand what people are saying in this and thus won't mimic invigilator.

Need an audio of people gossiping about teachers and school administration

Open Test 1 (12 Sep) was a cakewalk compared to this. I started the test 30-40 mins before the deadline and attempted 63q, 56 of them were correct. This one seemed on the tougher side. While the level of the paper seemed similar to actual UPSC paper, the options were kinda tricky.

I scored 117.33. Was expecting in the 90s and 100s. Maybe some blind guesses may have worked out.

As others said, it was a bit lengthy. It took me around an hour to go through the whole paper. Reminded me of the 2020 prelims, where there were a lot of statements to ponder over.

Opening the test and seeing Ancient and Medieval India questions is the worst feeling lol. Waiting for the solution so I can see what I did right and wrong.
