Referring to Ques no. 8... test 24..it is mentioned in solution that, FDI is generally regulated by RBI.

I have seen few sources mentioning it is regulated by DPIIT.

Please clarify.

@superman159 @KingPanda Likewise, I found economics to be more difficult this time, and the simulator overall as well

In today’s csat simulator, there are multiple errors in the answer key. I would like to share them.

Question-8 (how can one assume that d & E could be equal , not mentioned in question) . It’s answer must be D. Give answer is C. Sharing them after discussing them with peers.

Q.24 as,per the sequence given in the question answer must be C.4. In solun they changed the sequence in the last & that gave answer as 3 option B. It must be rectified from option B to C .

Q.26. They gave option. D as soln, why cant option A be true ? Both could be true A & D.

Q. 33. In answers they gave 11*3+4=35 . This thing i rectified in paper itself . It’s misprint in paper. It must be 37 in place of 35.

maliling them to helpdesk too.

What could be the reason for such a significant drop in combined rankings(offline+online) vis-a-vis 'offline only' on comparing ranking w.r.t. marks obtained. Consistent trend across all simulators. Does this mean larger chunk of better placed candidates from prelims pov after 4 simulators(as of now) are taking tests online? Could be there any other factor like fatigue of travelling to centre, exam hall environment etc.?

@pappyyadavaarahwaley817 I gave simulator 0 offline, and my worst simulator to date, the rest have been all online. The environment in the test centre is different from that of your own room., Tracking unanswered questions in so much easier online versus filling OMRs and then panicking and finding salvageable questions. Also, as you said, ‘better prepared’ candidates might just be sitting at home rather than appearing offline, skewing the curve.

Highly advisable to take 3-4 offline tests like Abhyaas to account for these environmental biases.

In my opinion simulator or abhyas or anything like that are not very relevant from content point of view.. it honestly does not matter much(unless you are scoring as low as 20-30).
However the experience, flow, zone of writing test offline, filling omr there, fighting when you don't know large chunk of questions is very important.

@farejul

I received the email regarding stimulator exam. There is a note which reads as-

Note: If any student who have registered for GS or CSAT Simulator Test (1,2,3,4) only, will not be allowed to take part in GS or CSAT Simulator Tests (5,6,7,8).

I enrolled for the CSAT examination only, does that mean I cannot appear for the CSAT tests?

Please clarify. Thanks.
