Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

@sjerngal @Rashmirathi bhai logo ek doubt h anthro m ??
@Freakhoto bhai I also agree with you on diversification aspect like this year Fouhad Mirza ,Bhavani Devi and Swimming team made it to olympics and hope for more in the future also but there a serious need to rethink our sports policies and approach ( and I know the problems as I have been a player myself and I constantly follow many sports and my sister is international athlete and I know many players and coaches and they all agree on this) and at last what matters is olympics ( as name in upsc list matters) and if you are not there as a country you need to analyse it and take concrete steps and work towards that goal and there is a dire need to establish sports culture in the country and give more attention to other sports ( by media ,public) than cricketI also wish to see India in top ten and competing in most of the events
In Like Every Sector Huge Chunk of Money is required in Sports Specially with the coming of new age technology which are used to analyze performances for better performances plus foreign coaches ,diet,Equipments and all. For these relying on government would a futile task. Look at USA where government invest less than 1% and most of the funding are done by Corporate. So in India the Corporate need to put their hands out and invest money in athlete specially like GO Foundation Jindal Sports. You mentioned a term Sports Structure i dont know what did you exactly try to hint on but i am assuming that you meant a sports structure by Government. If my assumption is correct then i disagree because sports is not a welfare programme where you need to focus to minimize leakage its should include professionalism and you being a sport person will know that very well also we know that professionalism and Government Structure dont go hand in hand due to corruption favouritism.
My Concrete Steps is to encourage as much Corporate Organization coming up and opening schools [training] at grassroot level such as in Village of North East who are athletically very apt [ Not Stereotyping] North India or if that isn't possible atleast have a scouting system so that you can take them from their villages to the best training schools in the country and then to the World like PV Sindhu..
another Suggestion is What India needs right now is Hunting down talents. Find as much talent as we can so that we can have a contingent of 200-300 in 2024 and even if we fail to bring medals in 2024 but we will better prepared for 2028 or 2032.
Bring Olympics Gold Hinges Upon three Aspects
Scouting->Training - >Winning
And I think with the recent Success and glorification of Medals by Media a lot of talent are going to be scouted
@sjerngal @Rashmirathi bhai logo ek doubt h anthro m ??
I will get back to you soon.
@Freakhoto yeah bhai completely agree with you on this talent identification aspect if govt or corporates can do this it will lead to sports revolution ( as already some are doing this like JSW and other corporates through Inspire institute of sports ,Abhinav Bindra ji through Abhinav Bindra Target performance centres, Pullela Gopichand ji through his academy in Badminton and athletics and they all have delivered good results at national and international level) but we need more like sports related education, coaches with proper sports knowledge (technical knowledge ),sports nutritionists,pshyio,psychologists,need to establish sports as a career ,infrastructure,financial supportBhai I felt bad as a sportsperson and as a sports lover that we have so much talent which gets wasted due to various issues and if can tap that potential then we can be sporting nation and it will help in increasing our soft power , tourism,attracting big brands to setup industries ( upsc angle)So sorry for using this thread for this discussion ( I know this is not for this purpose but I only feel most comfortable on this thread only and it’s like home for me because of you all amazing people)
Agreed Every Words of Your!
There is nothing that can better describe the beauty of sport than what she has done and what she will do. A lot of commentators also appreciated her confidence with playing along the net. I think that is a big change from the 2016 Sindhu. She has done so much with her smashes, her reach in the court and her perseverance. What will happen once she acquires more skills in the following three years? Well, she is making us all dream!
And I think it is time we should stop crushing on Sindhu's game here or else the non sport fan Forumites will throw us out of this thread :P
I am dreaming about 2024 as well as 2028 :D

@sjerngal such aesthetics are something I would die for 😍 ( I have a box full of coloured pens and highlighters and whenever I feel anxious I just open up that box. 🙈)
Stationery supplies are my weakness too..
