Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

@SurvivalHey! With regards to State PSC Vs. UPSC, I also recently gave State PSC Pre and will be writing Mains right after the UPSC Prelims. I think you should give your best for state PSC. If you clear that exam then it will rejuvenate you. It will make you feel much more confident.None of us can say what worked or what not in mains with utmost confidence till the marks are out. Try to realize what more can you add once the marks are out. At the same time keep the spirits high. All of us are in the same process. Hard work will always reward you so don't stop doing that. Since there is limited intake and high amount of people aiming for the same thing, it is natural that not all of us will go through in one go. Some people who couldn't clear mains last term, cleared it this year. So stay focused and consistent. Things will fall in place.
Yes my friend.. And thank you for replying.. Untill I don't know where I lacked I can not improve it.. So it will be better for me first to give my best for state pcs..
and also best wishes to u for coming prelims and state mains..just will focus on clocking hours as mind is little numb still.. But can't let it linger as then I will screw up state pcs..
Yesterday being day 1 for me, I can discount it. But things have to improve.
Have to give a few more hours today, with a bit more focus.
Targets would be Econ Survey 1 chapter.
Upinder Singh Notes.
Newspaper.
Starting slow to gain momentum. Full throttle from 1st April!
27/03/21
I had a productive day. Did Maths 40 pages, Newspaper, one current affairs class and 10 pages of CA magazine.

I tried to wake up early. But it's so damn difficult! I guess once SFG starts, the discipline will be better.
I've been sluggish throughout the day. Hoping posting here would give me the extra fire needed.
29.03.2021 Updates:
- Environment required portion finished.
- Forum Sectional Test #3 : Environment + Agriculture
Couldn't finish review of test. Will do tomorrow. Environment took too much time (~5 hours) But worth it, many questions came from the last few pages :D
Also, change of plans. Before giving test 4, going to complete January + February vision monthly magazine.
Hi, everyone posting after a long time, I recently shifted places to completely give my focus to preparation, home environment was not very conducive. I can see a definite improvement in my productivity. this week I am planning on completing my backlog CA monthly magazines. Kudos to all others who have been posting consistently for the past 2 months.
target for today is finishing October CA and starting November CA
----
edit at 7.50 pm. Finished October CA, starting Nov CA now.
Seems thread on revival..
Yest review - biology completed 40 pgs (10 left).. And time wasted due to thinking of spending time alone on Holi.. And upsc debacle..
Today target - bio 50 pages.. Optional 4 hrs notes.. Mains g's note making 2 hrs..
Funny thing is - how much we put value to this exam.. And few people who get selected.. Leave the field mid- way.. Context - few ips left job and fighting elections in Bengal.. And in yest newspaper - 36 yrs ips left job last yr .. Now directing a political party in Tamil Nadu at grassroot level in a backward area..
And here we are thinking.. Ek baar ghusa doh service mei Bhagwaan..( plz help us to enter services one time God ) 😂
Today's target:-
- Newspaper
- Environment- Shankar notes ch. 11-16 (11 days remaining)
- History Optional- Medieval India Vol. 2 Ch. 14-15 (12 Days remaining)
Have to slog more hours today compared to yesterday. Target was not big enough yesterday so I had good enough rest. Now fully rejuvenated. Good to see more participation on this thread.
