This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

All da best , mate . #chak_lein_de
out. feeling devasted, gave it my all but it still wasn't enough. I don’t know how to go on now, I don’t know what to do, what to study. wanna join CGP but its so expensive, already have wasted so much money at a ridiculously expensive uni.
I'm thinking of changing my option, law, it was my grad subject so i picked but i actually hate it lol, maybe i would fare better with PSIR?
I don’t know how to get back to studying now, what should i do? feeling so so lost
@ThePhenom @Indian_Human are you guys writing the ims test series for cse2021
No I am not writing. They use to have before prelims in December idk if they will have now. I was thinking to join that batch.
are you guys joining any test series for answer writing practice? And if any one knows what are these concept classes of mgp ++ .Are they any good or mgp+ will suffice?
MGP ++ will have short videos around 30 min long. They cover important concepts in length and breadth for eg video on separation of power, green economy, blue revolution etc etc. Basically it deals with important and basic concepts of every topic and its subtopic. They are many so many that I lost count after some time.
I found them useful because I have been short of guidance these videos kind of help what to read and how to read. You will have to find your reasons they will enrich content that's all I can say.
Well MGP+ is test papers and essay paper.
had signed up for cohort 10 mgp because I was certain of clearing but oh well I didn't. don't know how to proceed, any word of advice/ guidance ?
Easier said than done. Be around people who have cleared and push yourself to complete all the tests. It will be helpful in next mains. You have 2-3 months window before gearing up for next prelims make the best out of it. Every day is crucial hereon.
@AlphaCAT double treat brotu apne selection ki bhi dena 😤😤let’s begin afresh with full energyno complacency, total belief and a singular focus
This wasn't for me, but I wanted to say your line was so motivating - let’s begin afresh with full energy
Ahh, home for the next one year. Hello fellow travelers. Good luck to you all. :')
Plan:
- show up everyday
- be honest
- leave the place better that what I came to
Targets for tomorrow Day#1
- The Hindu
- Setup the new mac (yayay)
- Integrate all the notes, indexes, etc into one place and sync up everything
- Finish 70 policies that shaped India
- 2 questions minimum to be written
"Time is what we want most, but we use worst."
Finishing off
Totally drained but a satisfying day.
Finished all the targets except writing questions (not fine but will let it slide)
Tomorrow will be the last day for reading fringe stuff like books on policies and skimming through committee reports for fun and a broader viewpoint.
Day #2 targets:
- The Hindu
- Finish skimming a) 3 general policy documents b) 1 foreign policy document
- Write two questions before evening
"Don't speak if it doesn't improve on silence."
ps- sharing a thought before I crash on my bed, which I realised earlier today-I flunked this year's prelims. I am coming off a fresh defeat. If I draw enthusiasm from that defeat, it will not be a "sustainable process" because the exam is over 7 months away. So I must draw the drive/enthusiasm to work hard from another place which is value positive.
Good luck for tomorrow everyone. 🦖

As said by Dinkar ji-
#Best of luck to everyone

1. Linear algebra (1/2)
2. GS3 (Government budgeting)
3. Analysis of prelims paper and source augmentation (if reqd.)
I have been trying to be consistent with posting daily target and then updating, slowly I will get the hang of it may be.
