This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. Today's Target...
1: Newspaper..
2: GS 1 Society ( have to complete Ch 2 from ncert along with note making..)
3: OPTIONAL..( PAPER 2 )
4: MAGAZINE + CA ( will try to solve ques)
Today's update..
First half of the day was not good as I got cold and cough..took medicine.. thought to complete the newspaper but because I felt asleep so was unable to do so ..
In the second half met some old friends..felt good after so many days...:)
Feeling better now..so have decided to complete the newspaper today..! Also, will read one article from magazine...
Will continue note making of society and optional tomorrow..!

4: QUIZ + MAGAZINE ( have to read few articles)
In addition to all this.. have to complete the backlogs...( Btw..have completed yesterday's newspaper)
Will try to complete the targets today..as I am feeling better now..! :) :)

2: Partial done(done with the reading portion but was unable to make notes) went through pyq's also..
3: Done(finally done with CH 2) it was too lengthy..:(
4: Completed articles from magazine.. Inclusive Rural Growth and Expanding Economic Activities..
Have not done CA( NO ques solving today :/)
Need to gear up..:/ from last 2 days not able to complete the target for my optional..but tomorrow anyhow I will complete the topic..:)
So the drill continues..!

Feeling so disappointed..! God knows what just happened to my focus..:/

4: CA+ QUES solving...
So.. that's all I have decided for today..have framed my mind accordingly..I know last few days were not so productive specially my optional..but from today I'll start in a better way..!

Wanted to share this article with you guys..!
Proportion of Indian women delegation at COP26 was overall lower than 169/195 countries that attended..! It was 17% only.. knowing the fact that the proportion was high during COP23 and COP25.
OVERALL..women are underrepresented in most country delegations...! Hope the situation will get better in the coming future..!

Decent day of study though I couldn't finish all the targets. Must get things done faster.
1. Revision, unification, WWI - done. RR - today
2.Optional - 1(c) - today, 1(b)- to be revised and done properly
3.Modern India - today
4. Newspaper - up to date
Wasn't a good day. Effective study time was lesser than clocked. Figured 3 subjects in a day doesn't work for me. Going to stick with 2. Another goal is to wake up earlier and start studying by 9:00 am from tomorrow.
Completed optional target, hardly studied any modern. Couldn't do WH.

Clearly not on track to achieve my goal of starting at 9 in the morning considering I am still awake at 2.

Just sociology today. Did not want to break the flow. Woke up extremely late and clocked about 6 hours which weren't all effective. Usually, would try compensate by studying till late at night. Trying to break the cycle by calling it a day early and starting early tomorrow. Hope I manage to do so. Will update targets for tomorrow in the morning.

Agree. Would like to share something positive I read. A welcome example of the grassroot level change that we keep talking and writing answers about. Recently, the former sarpanch of Piplantri was awarded Padma Shri. This is the Pipalntri village model of Rajasthan which is now an eco-feminist movement.
Every time a girl is born in Piplantri, villagers plant 111 trees – an auspicious number for local Hindus – to both honour her and to regenerate the environment.

Have been forgetting to post targets since 2 days, mostly as I clubbed the targets for 2 days as few of them were ambitious. Could do the GS, Optional bits. Haven't touched the newspaper since 2 days, will do the backlogs today.

Changed my targets half way through the day. Done with eco and agri almost and didn't touch optional today. First half was great, but most of the second half was spent being distracted over nothing. :P But, glad won't have to do Eco tomorrow.

Calling it a day. Figured that a few fringe sub topics and issues of gs 3 were left to be done properly. So prioritised that and got them done. Tried to shift to optional but friction was too high, post the gs 3 session, so lagged quite a bit.
Will try to have a better day tomorrow, targets roll over.
Except the newspaper, did the rest. Good day overall, but really really tired as I went out in the evening to run errands and clearly the prep has turned me older than I am :p

Completed the targets but not happy with my day. First half was good but second half was just mechanically reading things, don't know how much have I actually absorbed.

- Finish Complex Analysis PYQs
- Modern Algebra PYQs (1/2): Theory will have to wait till second round, test is coming
- Try to finish post Independent India
Bad day streak continues. Finished PYQs and then I felt guilty about straightaway jumping to PYQs so started Group Theory first. Will keep the other parts of the chapter for later.

- Finish Modern Algebra - Group Theory + PYQs (Tough ask, I know)
- Revise Essay Notes, Quotes and examples

Finished Group theory and finished all the PYQs on it. However, I've left around 50% of the modern algebra chapter for the next round due to my over ambitious targets! Did the essay enrichment revision but only doing one round of revision for all of that hardly counts!

Really productive day
Targets accomplished on 17-11-21
1) One lecture each of ethics + ancient India + PSIR
2) Daily CA+ Newspaper + Perspective
3) One chapter of RS Sharma + a few pages of ethics
Just learnt today that optional classes will drag on till January, that's almost 8 months for optional, what a drag. Online classes are mundane and boring in themselves, the extensions aren't helping at all. Add to that, I have close to 30 lectures of GS in backlog (my own fault). Was motivated and disciplined in the first few months of prep and then burnout hit me, should have taken a break after hectic lab days and master thesis submission. Jumped straight into the preparation as I felt, I was behind other peers who were prepping straight after bachelors (Big mistake,I know). My plans of focusing on prelims from December and note making have all drowned. I have made no notes and revision is an alien concept right now, just trying to keep up with the classes. Need to figure a way out of this mess soon.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day.
