You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. 4: Ok.. so wanted to share with you guys..I'm developing a new habit of reading novels.. I use to earlier..but bcz of some work was not able to continue..so now have started again..
Felt good today after reading that novel..:)
PS: WENT out to eat something.(most fav dish).came back and completed the last two target..:)

Finished both the tests and almost finished the test analysis (90%). Maths test showed how a lot more revision is necessary to be in a respectable position in terms of the optional. Will get back to these chapters in one week once I finish the first round revision.
Targets:
- Revisit maths test, finish test analysis
- Revise PDE Theory
- Revise Geography (mostly diagrams)
Note to self: Never again give a test half prepared.

Couldn't finish the 2nd and 3rd targets on time. Guess I was too overambitious. Going to extend PDE by a day. Also, going to run some errands tomorrow so might lose out on a little time, will compensate for it later.

1) One lecture Ancient India
2) Ethics 30 pages
3) Daily CA + Newspaper
4) Finally managed to write an ethics test, turned out to be a disaster... was left with a blank mind. Hope that will improve with better understanding and revisions.
Decent day, tomorrow will be better.
Alrighty.
Time to get back and begin the quest.
Targets: 11/11/21~Day#13: (a)The Hindu (b)Delete extraneous resources. (c)Finish Ethics(Attitude🕶) (d)Socio-consolidate upto lec-3. Not sleeping before finishing. As simple as that 🦅
18/11/21~Day 20: Time to spill the beans😬: went for a binge of The Wire and then True Detective and then all the spiderman movies I could get my hands on. काफ़ी शर्मिंदा महसूस करने के बाद,🥲 I am back after putting in 3 days of solid work and finding the right speed(hopefully) for myself so I don't fall in these rabbit holes again.
Targets finished today: 1) The Hindu 2) Answer writing 3) socio lectures 4) Mains issues brainstorming
From tomorrow targets will be less specific and more focused on picking up things that I can get done. a)<1hr for the Hindu b)<2.5hrs for answer writing c)<1hr for YT dna d) 7hrs max for soc+ncert+gs.

20/11/21#21~Same targets+PYQ/syllabus/CA mapping & indexing.
1 good day means nothing and 1 bad day means nothing and neither does how much ground has been covered.
Only things that matters is how much portion has been internalised with PYQs and Syllabus as an anchor.

After a certain number of hours(variably 6-8), the focus intensity falls. In words of Cal Newport, you can't do deep work beyond 8 hours. But I think we must endeavour to push the boundaries through meditation+physical workouts+scheduling proper breaks. Hoping for good results on experimental Sunday.

Thats it. Will try to finish this stuff by evening. Thereafter will watch weekly anime and a movie, probably Jai Bhim. The reviews appear appealing to me, lets see how movie will turn out to be
Lets get going.
Wasn't a good day for me. I left too much to study till the end of the day and this a pattern I have recognised. Often leaving things to be done till the last minute when a target is set.
Must finish things early in the day, not waiting to compensate at the end of it. Taking breaks which are longer than necessary is a strict no no, breaks the flow.
Ideally, my sessions of study should be at least 1:30 to 2 before taking a break.
Specific targets today 21/11/2021:
- September Monthly - 30 pages
- GS1 Society Note making
- Modern India - Themes (257-315), Spectrum till socio-religious, Gov gen
- Newspaper as usual
May be a little ambitious but I would like to try.
Just a reminder here :
So, make sure there is a time period allotted for enough revision.
