one of those days when you sit on desk the whole time without actually doing much.
Then result came.. guilt.. guilt and guilt. Guilt of not working hard enough after prelims (which i was not expecting to clear) and wasting time till result. So those who have not started mains yet, don't do it to yourself. You can live with everything but guilt. Guilt of not trying.
And then I read this quote popped on my quora feed (which I open only when I am tensed.)-
Guilt is like fear. It's given to us for survival, not destruction

Have procrastinated enough on ethics. Need to face the red book tomorrow.
Just some words that keep me going, "A Psalm of Life" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.
Okay, so mathematics keeps telling me I'll have to take it slow. Mains marks of seniors last year seem confusing, need to ensure a healthy GS-mathematics balance to remain in the 'race'.
