According to the math, upsc has either dropped 2 or 9 questions. Watching such huge discrepancy, I won't doubt figure of 9. Earlier I thought it can be just 2 but such huge drop can't be explained by 2 questions only.

Seriously..it's so so frustrating.

I mean what we would we even do by looking at our 2020  prelims marks by oct end when they finish the forest interviews..no use and no interest..by that time only 2021 marks would matter to us.

Matching answer keys got 101, final marks came out to be 106.xx. but what wrecked me for those 20 days between prelims and result was my csat was coming out to be 66.xx, basically one wrong answer away from disqualification while my actual csat score came out to be 74! Screw the coaching centres for recruiting guys with wahiyat English who can't even get RC correct in non exam environment! This time I am.not going to match my csat and save precious 20 days😏

Sorry i dont know where to post this, but,

prelims marks are out, 

for the past year i have been cursing myself for screwing P1 but ultimately i came to know it was actually CSAT which screwed me.

Guys please dont ignore CSAt even if you are fairly confident.

I don't think it is 9, must be 2

most possible thing is many answers are different than what everyone thought 


but sadly we won't be able to see the answer keys before forests results

@Tempo_High_Hain bhai Apka he aisa dekha increase… Baki sabka to bahut zada decrease hai..maybe u did some questions right acc to UPSC key which all coaching have wrong

how life is 

while in 2019 when I got more marks than forest cutoff, i didn't opt for it,  later I regretted as after mains I wasn't motivated to study at all and giving forest could have solved that issue


in 2020 when I didn't clear civil's cutoff I regret about opting for forest

106.35/200*196 will give you the correct decimal. Score this obtained would be your descaled marks out of 196. 


Edit- it is coming .22 but when I did the same calculation on cutoff and other marks, it was coming out to be .00/.33/.66

@Oasis ya kuch questions i remember aise the, on which I was dead sure I was right but coaching centre wale kuch aur answer de rahe the, I counted them as wrong. One of them was a question about money supply, yaad nai exactly kya question the, but before exam I literally did a mini PhD on it as I got really intrigued by the concept. So almost all coaching centre was giving an answer different from mine but I knew I was correct poor bhi counted that as negative
