I have some queries 😅 all have a same theme
1. Barring basalt flows, shield volcanoes are the largest. So if a statement says shield volcanoes are the largest volcanoes it is to be marked correct or not?
2. Same thing with speaker being ex-officio prez of all parliamentary forums except the one on population, or all notices lapsing on dissolution except notices for introduction of bills. And probably a dozen other such cases.
If a statement says, all notices lapse on dissolution, it’s to be taken as right or wrong?

I mean how do we know if a statement is just saying something generally, or we have to account for all the minute exceptions…
@sjerngal I find it bit difficult. Questions were more on technical basis and less on analytical. Whether it's S&T or economics, there was less emphasis given on analytical questions. I didn't solve more than 50 questions. Find it more like on Vajiram pattern, less on upsc pattern.Confidence hila diya iss paper ne.
I would anyday like a paper that is not like Vision's .. Such is the PTSD.. Lol!!

@Neyawn Help out!!!!
how one will proceed ? Not able to grasp this question. Main to answer isme wo laa raha hun jo ki options main hi nahi hai😅
1 digit number ->1-9 =9
2 digit number ->10-99= 90*2=180
3 digit number->100-999=900*3=2700
Total digits used till now = 2700+180+9=2889, total digits to get=3089 =>remaining digits= 3089-2889=200
=>total 4 digit number= 4*x=200 =>x=50 =>50th 4 digit number is 1049 which is the answer.
Beautiful explanation
In monetisation of deficit, why is there a need for govt. to issue bonds to the RBI? Can't the RBI just print some money and give it to the govt.? Isn't it just a loan in the former case and hence should just be called borrowing instead of monetisation?
Because if RBI prints money, its a liability for RBI so there has to be something on the assets side as well. Bonds / T bill works as assets then.
They are called monetisation because fresh currency is printed by RBI. Other times when currency is printed, it is produced on RBI discretion and the purpose isn't deficit financing.
