Effect of acid rains on lichens
According to vision test -8 ,Q-75 -- acid rain lead to high production of lichens on affected trees
But on searching online..get to know that acid rains has negative effect on lichens as lichens is sensitive to sulphur and acid rain contains Sulphur compounds.
So what is considered as correct??

NCERT is actually wrong on that one. I also remember coming across this while studying. It's probably a printing mistake or something
Oceanic Crust is thicker and it's density is 3 whereas continental crust has density 2.7g/cm3

Oceanic crust has to be the more dense one or else in subduction the oceanic crust wouldn't be the one to go below the continental crust.

Moreover an example: when two plate collide subduction of heavier plates occur. .In case of Oceanic - continental crust , subduction of oceanic plates occur.
