statement 1 is correct as rajya sabha chairman can only name a member and not suspend it , same is mentioned in the link http://factly.forumias.com/suspension-of-mps-from-lok-sabha/

With reference to Suspension of MPs, consider the following statements:

1. Unlike the Speaker of Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha Chairman does not have the power to suspend a member.

yes it was difficult , since one word questions were more in number , A decrease of 13 marks for me in this test.

As per CITES:

Trade in specimens of these species must be subject to particularlystrict regulationin order not to endanger further their survival andmust only be authorized in exceptional circumstances.

@AJ_ The chairman of Rajya Sabha has the power to name members for suspension. Then it is taken up by the house through a motion and if a motion is passed then the member is suspended. It is rule number 256 under Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Rajya Sabha. I am dropping the link below you can read.

@AJ_ Yes they enjoy complete commercial trade ban. They are regulated for non commercial imports  e.g. for being placed in a zoo or biogeographical parks.
