@BodhgayaVery counter intuitively, 2-2 line answers, in the right circumastances, will give you more marks than lengthy ones.

I agree. I am afarid of generalistic questions more than vague and tough questions because scoring becomes a real issue there. In all humanities optionals, Paper 2 is generally low scoring.

@ChampakIts nice that you still kept going for moreI'll give my 1st next year and I dont even have the capacity to comprehend what it would take to have a go at this exam 6 times.

I'm appearing for forestry mains this year. Need to prepare two new optionals (forestry and geology). Do or die situation actually. Gave third civils mains and it ended as freaking disaster. So hoping to give it seriously.

I'm looking for someone, to prepare together with. Anyone with similar optional, and interested, pls let me know.

How much should be the general intake for the interview approx?

This year's GS 2 and 3 looked like being deliberately designed to make Current affairs coaching industry redundant. I still remember my first mains in 2017 and with fraction of the current knowledge I thought I had done pretty well. This year no clue.

@Valar_morghulisin that little and great tradition question..i connected social with caste system, women in village to social reform,temple entry... Politically dominant caste to majgar kham.. religious to sufi bhakti and sacred complex.. i hope didn't messed it

I don't know who is Santosh sir.
As of now there is overemphasis on CA ,which I think ,is not required. Mains365 is enough to cover the major topics and the rest of CA topics nobody can guess

@Bodhgayatest series of L2A is good only for ur practice. They take more than a month to check copy. They say they will check on time if test is given on scheduled date. But in preparation I found it very difficult to stick to their schedule
