@TeddyWestsideJob related question they will ask. Linkage of your job to particular sectors and overall economy, details related to projects you have work on etc. should be prepared.

Yup, saw the same pic few hours back n i think this might also be the reason for delay. Now they'll have to merge IRTS, IRPS and IRAS into IRMS( Indian Railway Management Service). They'll have to make changes in DAF-2

They have mentioned that the changes take effect from next recruitment cycle. I feel the recruitment cycle here is the recruitment cycle of Indian Railways service. So for them, 2020 pass out candidates from CSE '19 are their next set of officers. They have had their 2019 recruitees already from CSE '18.
Correct me if my interpretation is wrong.

@CaesarThe way they will operationalize it is still unclear. Some distinction has to be drawn between enginering and generalist services.
