Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.

@K_9True words. Reinforcement of this by the institutes and strategy peddlers has almost left aspirants handicapped to think and innovate right at the spot. Someone wrote this above too and I agree how there is overemphasis on I-B-C structure and it works only if you address all parts of the question. This time the GS papers were difficult because one can't fit them into this simple form.

@Raja123yr introduced it with what all welfare schemes are there for particular vulnerable sections and performance of some of them;
Then focused on lack of awareness and participation; like transgender bill, schemes like sugamya bharat for disabled etc drafted without their active participation and similar examples for other sections like SC/st, elderlies, women,children, farmers etc (in some examples gave stage wise implementation and lack of participation at every stage like in planning, drafting, implementation phases) ; Gave reasons of lack of awareness and participation like power distance, bureaucratic apathy, illiteracy, paternalistic approach etc and wrote way fwd in this with focus on bottom up approach with help of local governments, making village and block level plans/schemes with active participation of vulnerables consolidate them into district level and so on to national level keeping in view the no one size fit all approach
@LonewolfStrict checking i would have to say. Expecting similar type of evaluation this year too.
@Raja123divided into 2...lack of awareness : example of rashtruya swasthya bima yojana which didnt take off due to lack off awareness....lack of awareness--self exclusion of individual beneficiaries....lack of awareness incentivises corruption-->ghost beneficiaries of PDS where names of beneficiaries are misused as they dnt knw about schemes.... dosra bhag tha lack of participation-->boycotting of schemes due to delegitimisation of governemnt by participants as they are not taking part (like pathalgarhi movement) ... lack of participation leads to disconnect with ground level reality... aur no scope for finetuning of sceheme eg. pradhan mantri fasal bima yojna.... itna hi yaad hai..
@Lonewolfyaar itna toh idea nahi hai. I think they penalised formulaic approach. I used the vision approach of anecdote, structure, etc which fetched me marks in vision tests. But it floundered and my marks plummeted from 139 to 108.

@ranyo_asokabhai it shows ki you held on your nerves during those 3 hours. Maine to itna generic likha hai ki I can't even recall what actually I have written. Bas kuch likh diya hai. Seeing the discussion here i have realised how sub standard my answers are.
