Mains 2021: Doubt and strategy discussion thread
I don't know what to say, really. Prelims is over. The discussion as regards the authenticity of answer keys is the most futile discussion. So, I am creating this thread as a necessary and much-needed diversion. Three months to the biggest battle of our professional lives begins now. All comes down to how we heal and grow from now on, and either, we heal or we're gonna crumble. Day by day.
We're in a toxic environment right now, fellas. Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the s**t kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. Mains is the road ahead for everyone of us notwithstanding our current predicament. So, let's continue to fight and not let our guard down.

People who have given mains 2019.. any strategy updates after seeing scores? Or any ideas abt what worked and what didnt?
- DON'T rely only on Mains365 for current affairs, got little time to revise.
- increase writing speed.
- have ready-made organised notes on major topics of syllabus- cover more breadth than depth in GS.
- don't ignore geography.
- Be innovative with answers.
- PRACTICE.
@SergioRamos Scoring 115+ in GS 2020. Never failed in CSAT so had this attitude like you. Scoring 70 in CSAT this time according to Byju keys, attempted 46 Qs. Attempted all RC questions. Hope I am safe in CSAT. 6th attempt.

Changed my handwriting over the last 1 year.
Will work on writing speed in coming days.
Will find ways to throw in more information in less words, not jeopardising answer length though
plmokn25688524,balwintejas@Qwertie I get it man. Don't lose hope yet. It has been seen throughout many previous years papers that these coaching fellas, in their answer keys, get RC's wrong more often than not. At least 3-5 question discrepancy. So you can relax a bit. Secondly, also match with some other keys out there and if you are clearing in all 3, even by 4 marks, you will sail through.

Currently writing answers roughly, more focus upon regeneration of what all I know as quick as possible
More focus upon word limit so that 10-12 words more in some questions don't make me to compromise on others
Also content creation/collection/notes is/are important so..

Yes.
Even 162 in ethics and 121 in GS 2 are excellent.
These balanced the low optional marks

@SergioRamos interview most hav heen awarded liberally(180/190 seems the avg) m8 b bcauz of corona hav seen even 205!!
