LIVE Session onStrategic Mistakes and Handling Tricky Questions
LIVE Session for filling up DAF 2 | CSE 2020
Hello All,
So the last time I create a TG for Interview prep we saw some good discussions. However, the group has little archival value, by which I means discussions that happen are not archived on the Internet forever - which is something we need for Civils prep - or at least for the community.
This thread is created by ME circa 2021 to be "The Interview Group"
I am also working on a guide for Interview Preparation - which is kinda here
And a very interesting hobby discussion thread here

Number of boards taking interview varies as per availability and other responsibility. For example you can see there are e-summon for various exams are pending. So, they would be dividing boards for different exams. Hence, the number of interviews on each days is varying. It is normal.
Secondly, there is absolutely no correlation between interview date and mains marks. Please for god sake don't lose your sleep over these issues. Thirdly, on each day aspirants from different parts of our country are called for interview as per their roll numbers(which is based on their prelims centre). This has been happening for past 3 year
Hence, peacefully prepare for interviews without thinking over such trivial issues.
I dont know what the pattern of interviews has been for the past few years. But to me, there's something odd about this year's interview schedule. On the first day 44 candidates are being interviewed, followed by ~47 on an average the next 4 days. Next week I believe this number changes to ~50s per day and for most the weeks it is in the 50s. I believe there is one more week somewhere in may where the average number of interviews per day goes in the 40s (I believe its 47). However, the final week is where they've crammed in all the remaining candidates, ~71 per day on the final day barring the last day, which led me to wonder whether candidates scoring better marks have been allocated slots on days where fewer interviews are to take place. No clue, just wild speculation.PS: My interview itself is on 16th June ~70 interviews, so was a bit freaked out last night while pondering over this.
Dude. Youre overthinking. You also need to start doing yoga 😀

Hello all. This was to be my 2nd interview (2nd mains, 3rd attempt). Since the interviews have been postponed, I have some time to spare. And so do most of us.
Planning to start an answer writing series for PSIR, focused on previous year questions. It would be a targeted course ( for a 30- 45 days) , with personalised attention and detailed comments for areas of improvement.
Given my own experience of the pathetic evaluation of test copies even at the leading PSIR coachings, I strongly believe that it would prove a game changer.
The charges would be nominal, just to ensure seriousness. Interested people kindly DM. Will share more details then.
Please share among your friends and fellow aspirants who might find it useful.
