[ Official ] How was the Prelims 2021 paper?

@srivalliguru940 i know only two friends. one is scoring 97-100, another above 90.
This preliminary paper will be become more random with year after year
reasons:
1. Increasing coaching institutes especially online ones/telegram ones
2. rising people attempting it
3. less seats (Its now half o what used to be in 2014 -15 i think)
4. Only 100 questions ..they need to frame within this
5. csat becoming eliminator and especially RC one cant comprehend in limited time
6. role of AI/ML (which some coaching centres started to use)
I feel atleast they should recruit twice an year...like jee exams being conducted twice
one year cycle (multiolied by attempts) is a criminal waste of talent,energy,money and aspirations
@Dinzz888 making educated guesses were difficult this time due to randomness and more factual points. reg preparation part: Referred similar sources, didnt attempt more random oriented mocks this time due to paucity of time/momentum(like gs score, insights). In hindsight, could have improved marking only on 4-6 qstns.

How was the csat? Could be the factor again this year for low cutoff?
@balwintejas didnt check CSAT, dont have trust on any institute. But it was tough, like last year.
I didnt dig much into controversial q, frst i feel its futile, second im just tired bcz of exam and prep, simply trying to get out of it 😀

@Aurang_mirasudar or those who have cleared Prelims once should be allowed to write mains directly. I mean validity of Prelims score should be there for 3-4 years.

MichaelScarn,@madeye hmm. Right.. Same with me.. Gs score in range of 110-115 but csat around 67.5 taking all doubtful questions as negative..this is my last attempt.
Bhai this was my 6th attempt (last attempt),I will get through csat, but gs paper mei score is around 86, so I am in another level of anxiety,
