A day will come that UPSC will introduce JEE Mains level mathematics questions in CSAT. Like f(g(x)), f(f(x)), AP, GP, HP type questions. Then students will protest, they will reduce the threshold to 25% but now they will ask differentiation and integration along with some conic section masala-type eccentricities.

They will say"bro, we told you to study class 10th level maths. ButNOT YOURclass 10th level, it is FIITJEE class X level FTRE exam type". LMAO.

@Stay_happy Same with me. GS around 100 but CSAT seems dangerously borderline. 3rd and last attempt for me.

If the paper was difficult, it was difficult for all, try to make the best out of what has been served, nothing is gonna come across by blaming UPSC for setting questions paper like the way they do, they have to select 700 out of 10 lacs by hook or crook. Understand this, digest this, take this paper like any other exam, have a backup. Rest is out of our hands.

@hihihihihi such type of papers encourage luck factor. Why don’t upsc go with normal paper covering basic books and concepts for at least 40-50 questions? Let the cutoff be 120 but that will encourage serious aspirants who have strong grip over concepts and basic knowledge.

I can bet on difficulty level of csat

I attempted 58 and almost 19 to 21 wrong..cutoff may reduce significantly but not

But not sure whether it will touch 85

When people were claiming that they saw a reduction of 15 marks from answer key, were they referring to Topper's answer key or Forum/Shankar/Vision ?

@Rahulsa acc to me, 85 is a very probable score:-

@kohliwag or if they want to have make the exam similar to a GK quiz having randomness, they should at least increase the number of questions to 200 or something(along with increased time ofcourse). The more the number of questions, the randomness of people making the cutoff score based on arbitrary guesses would decrease. Or the other option being increase the -ve marking drastically so that people attempt only what they know.

epf, copper smelting and pressure cooker must be those questions which are creating such a huge difference. Right ? But many have opined that toppers key is sensible this time expect for that pressure cooker question.

Mera bhi 6th attempt

Scoring- 94 to 99 from vision and forum calculator. CSAT is sorted. Darr hai mujhe bhi. Obc category.

Somewhere I feel i might make it. But nothing can be said certainly. Many of my friends in the same range only. Bahot zyada convergence hai 90-100 mein.

I had this question too. Because it seems most of the people are scoring well with toppers. And it’s Shankar key and vision key that’s bringing them into danger zone

Toppers key are prepared by so called toppers who themselves were aspirants like us. Least credible amongst all the answer keys IMO

yeah I agree.

@srivalliguru940 quality of shankar key has progressively become worse since 2018. Even their cutoff prediction is not upto the mark as it used to till 2017
