[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

And why are they even wearing a mask or handkerchief? When they are not able to follow social distancing norms, what good does a mask do? Maybe an illusion of safety..😂

Went to market to bring some essential. saw a samosha shop presenting it barehanded and mask below the mouth. the customer pulled the mask down and with same hands samosha inside...... :D 

after seeing this i thought i am the only one stupid, living in stress.

If 5 lakh appear for exam and 1% contract covid( kaafi generous assumption considering the circumstances at the exam centre), then 5000 will be infected. India ka mortality rate is around 2%, to koi 100 log ko balidaan dena padega apne jeevan ka! Ye hain is exam ke bare facts! :P

@Lemillion you are forgetting the multiplier effect, that is, those infected candidates, when they go home they will infect their family members too. So 100 would be a far lesser number in that case.

Guys we will get to knw about postponement within few days....as per ugc case Nd jee/neet case in sc....I dun think if these exams get postponed thn upsc will conduct......most probable.chances of postponing it...because of clat postponement and few rivalry states

I think Kcet and B.ed exam in UP will be a litmus test and reference (sad as it may be) to how bad people will be affected because of these entrance examination . In 15 days we will get an idea . So lets see. 

Also many people see numbers of covid figures are just numbers and not people . It sad even one life is important , and that number in the statistics might be you , me , our family... etc .

@God People don't realise the gravity of the situation till it hits them. Typical Indian mindset. I am not taking a moral high ground as even people in my own family are saying that it is just a hoax and people have always suffered from cough and fever and there is nothing to worry about. You can't really make Indians understand. A very close friend of mine was saying similar things in our college's whatsapp group. 3 weeks back he was tested positive. His father also tested positive and they had to spend a significant amount of money  on treatment as his father's condition became a bit serious. They have recovered now and after recovering he was advising everyone to take it seriously as he still doesn't feel 100% fit. That's how most Indians are taking COVID. Only those whose families have been directly impacted realise what it is, everyone else is taking it like a seasonal flu.

@Jokar i dont agree govt completely removed any fear among people morning news only shows the number dead affected but not the unavailability of beds,oxygen,death of doctors as well..and there will be a hefty price to be paid for it...
