[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

SSC 17 August se aage saare exams Schedule kiya hai

UPSC bhi shayad similar lines pe hi schedule karega

CSE Pre mostly September me hoga

so its clear from SSC schedule that even for examination which will be held in multiple shifts is being held in august from 17th to 21st and 24th to 27th august, there is no way UPSC can conduct an exam which is to be held in a single shift before august in any case.

Dates par Prelims ka cutoff na kabhi depend kiya h na krega.. wo sirf UPSC ki sanak pe dependent hota h or hota rhega ;) so Keep Studying with your own maximum !!

The only gap that makes a difference in UPSC is the one during the mains, wo jisne sahi se utilise kiye baazi uski. In Prelims anyways it boils down to those 50-50 options guess .

@Weltschmerz bhai IIT and UPSC me jamin aasman ka antar hai tabhi toh itna socially acclaimed hone and cllg me 3 saal padhne ke baad bhi inhe generally 3+ attempts lag rahe.nyway ya kam seats mak xam more challenging!

Different exams have different skill sets required.JEE is about technical aptitude n requires different skills.Moreover it's quite logical for science background students to take more attempts because

1.They don't study history geography polity In college and r new to concepts.

2.Many from IITs take technical optional.Getting 320+ in sociology or maths can be equally tough but the amount of time and effort to get high marks in tech optionals is way way higher than arts subjects. Maths engineering people know that reality very well.

More time doesn't always correlate to higher cutoff.The effect will be only marginal.That old saying-Work expands to fill the time.

It mostly depends on how one utilises the time and keeps his/her focus.
