[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

The id card number is printed on your admit card. The instructions clearly say that you have to bring the same id card as mentioned in your admit card. So you'll need it, other id cards won't be accepted

1. File a missing/lost report about the identity card at your nearest police station (remember to tell the place of missing/loss within the jurisdiction of the police station near your place of stay or else they may unnecessarily ask you to report to the jurisdiction police station where you had lost your card). Get a copy of this report.
2. Call up UPSC and ask what are you supposed to do in this case. Ask them for an email where you can submit your issue in writing by adding the police report as an attachment.
They will guide you further. :)

@SA If you get time, do watch "Virus". Its a 2019 Malayalam Movie based on how the scientists and administration handled Nipah outbreak. The country needs both generalist administrators filled with empathy and specialist researchers.
Moreover, very very few among IITians choose their respective domains. Most line up for MBAs, investment banking, consultancy jobs. Hardly 5% of my IIT batchmates are actually inventing things. Rest all are managing things just like other generalists.

Ek saal pahle aaj ke din, usne bhi reject kia tha aur UPSC ne bhi.
Lagta hai kal hi ki baat hai.na jane kitne logo k sath har saal ye hota hai, pre k agle din milne jate hai, aur vahan attitude hota hai "Aap kaun bhaisahab"
